GTA ONLINE STILL NOT WORKING?

Ok so i've had the game since launch, and ever since the games online feature has come out...i have never once been able to go onto GTA online! THIS IS INSANE! I have been searching all the forums and i cant find anything that can help me. When i attempt to go into GTA online, an error comes up and says "Cannot connect to GTA cloud servers. Please try again later." I have tried changing my DNS server port number...and every possible way to access GTA online. That include through the loading screen at the beginning, through the main menu, and through the character wheel. My father has his one personal Xbox 360 in the basement with his own separate game and he cant access GTA online either. I have linksys internet. All of my friends in the close proximity can play online, but not me. Please, any help would be appreciated!

If you've never been able to connect, then it's very likely a problem with your internet provider. I presume that you've been able to connect to other MP games?

A few things to try.

 

Have you got a gold membership?

Im guessing you have rebooted your router in the space of time since it came out?

Try reinstalling the game.

Have you had the updates that have come out since launch?

Try clearing your chache?

Do you go by wireless? If so try it wired.

 

If you tried to connect on the very first day and created a character the character that you are trying to load may be glitched hence it timing out so try:

 

Onine > Select Character > New character.

 

Sorry I down own an xbox anymore so cannot think of anymore off of the top of my head that would be xbox specific.

 

Maybe call Rockstar if all fails?

I have a gold membership.
I can play other multiplayer games.
I have a wired connection.
I have tried clearing my cache
I re installed the game twice
I have downloaded all the game updates
And i have restarted my router 10+ times since launch of GTA Online.

And I called GTA support and all they did was send me a link that tested my internet connection. They said they couldn't help me any further.

Only other suggestion I have is maybe try getting online at a friends / relatives house Sorry for your pain man
