Jimbatron
There's always a distinction to be made between liking them or being a good character. He's one of the antagonists, so we're not really supposed to like him. I thought the character was well written, if that makes sense. Not a bad guy on the scale of Rascalov of Bulgarin. That's the one thing V was missing in my opinion. They need to bring Don Percival into the picture when they add single player content!
Alec Skorpio
He was likable as an antagonist, so I liked him as a character, but I didn't really "like" him. Of course, I downright hated Devin, so...take that as you will.

daliakiller
@Lil_B Not trying to be a fanboy here, but compare previous GTAs antagonists with this ones.. f*ck i hate that son of a bith Dmitri, and God knows how pleased i was to kill him. Or Frank Tenpenny, Bulgarin, and every other GTA antagonist you can think of.. Now take a look at this fools at V.. Take a GOOD look at them.. They are jokes! I mean, how the hell could i hate a guy, at the point i feel nice killing him, when the only thing he has done was to set up for me in ONE mission (which he was almost killed aswell) and tried to kill my nigga Lamar? This Stretch was the worst antagonist ever! What about Devin Weston? Gave us job during the whole game, at least great part of it and introduced us to Solomon Richards.. He tried to kill Michael's Family SO WHAT? That was the only reason im seeing to hate him, and it doesnt make no effect on me, seriously. Steve Haines.. major asshole, but funny guy after all. Tell me, what does he make in the whole history to make me feel hate for him? Maybe blackmailing Michael to do his Bureau dirty jobs? Fine, i'll take that as an excuse, but remember that Dave Norton was along with him too, forcing us to work for the FIB.. If Haines is an antagonist for making us work for the Bureau ONLY, the David Norton should be an antagonist too.. The Cheng Clan was the best antagonist of them, but they appear in two or three missions only.. ain't a major threat.. Anyways i got the endings and why killing them.. Leave no loose ends.. That was a good excuse for killing them all, but definitely, this are the worst antagonists in GTA history so far, im my humble opinion. Ain't hateable nor feels THAT good when killing them. kobeni
He's one of the better-written antagonists in the game. Cold, calculating and sociopathic, I actually hated him more than Devin Weston. He should have been the last guy the trio kills in The Third Way, considering he had more screen time than Devin. Max.pain
at some parts he’s worse than trevor but also funny, another reason i think all endings are bad because we can’t have killed both at the same time Edited September 20, 2019 by Max.pain
HOW'S ANNIE?
Steve Haines was without a doubt the best acted and most well written of the antagonists for sure. If anything I believe ot should have been him that we had to kill at the very end. I felt cheated that it was Devin Weston, who's only real crime was wanting to kill Michael, as opppsed to Steve who had been causing all the protagonists grief since his introduction. Granted he's no Dimitri, Billy or Tenpenny when it comes to GTA antagonists. But compared to Devin, Strech or Cheng he at least spent a decent amount of time in the oven and gave us a reason to hate him. Added little bonus too. If you go back and look at Rockstar's original casting for the game it seems as if Steve and Devin were originally one character in the game's conceptual stage. Maybe Rockstar liked both of the actors auditions and decided to spin the character into two. We'll probably never know SOURCE: https://www.kotaku.com.au/2011/03/is-grand-theft-auto-v-codenamed-rush-and-are-these-its-major-players/ Mitch Hayes: 38 - Annoying, wise cracking, highly successful FBI agent. In great shape. Does triathlons, drinks low cal beer, but still has a sense of humor. Gummy
billiejoearmstrong8
He was a good antagonist, hateable and funny and well acted, but like all the antagonists in the game he just wasn't utilised very well. Should've been shown to be more evil (instead that's mostly just implied, same with Devin) and could've had some better interaction with the protagonists to make it feel more personal instead of mostly just him giving them missions and saying see you later ladies. And should've been the main antagonist for sure. Edited September 24, 2019 by billiejoearmstrong8
