IV or V

Both GTA V and IV have online but which in your opinion is better?

 

I preferred IV's just because it was a lot easy to access and use.

v by a long shot way too much diversity and i hardly remember iv online i played saints row 2 online which was more fun around the time gta iv was online it was boring as hell

V and it's not even close, despite lack of custom invite sessions whereby we could change stuff like cops on /off. basically IV had a much better FM

GTA 4 was fun.. But boring. No cops... No shops.. Nothing.

 

Free roam had nothing really to do but troll players or go sight seeing.

 

Races where fun... Death matches where fun. But nothing mattered.

 

 

 

GTA V is way more enjoyable but still sloppily put together. I think alot of extra bullsh*t they put it makes it kind of annoying.

 

At least in GTA 4 when i raced i would be in a RACE lobby.. No stupid voting screens.. No catch up.. No slip stream.

This is bias, the majority will be V in this section. Post the same thread in IV, and the majority will be IV.

In my opinion IV. Such fun at the airport, over the years I've had some crazy times there, where as I'm usually the only one in GTA:O seen as everybody is either in their apartments or driving around.

IV, game was a hell of a lot better in general. GTA V feels small, empty, overhyped and the handling feels like a Saints row game. Online was also a lot better in GTA IV. Better map/blimp system, no damn cash crap and friendly fire off lobbies.

 

The only thing that ruined GTA IV was hackers.

IV. Cops n crooks. Bomb da base. Races. REAL RACES without that catchup sh*t and sh*tth driving. And in freemode you dont get killed for no reason as much as you do in V. Oh and matchmaking sucks in V!

The biggest thing I miss about 4 is the cover system. And being able to move from cover to cover properly.

 

Online I never played 4 much and only play 5 for the coop content. Though I was hoping for a full online coop story mode to play through. Not a particularly huge fan on pvp these days. Probably won about 10 million deathmatches and team deathmatches in my life. All the way back to quake. So yeah they're not fun anymore. Pvp has become dull. Especially when 99% of it is exactly he same. Assassins creed I love though. Its a completely unique pvp experience. Or was at least. But digressing.

 

One of the things I wish 5 had was coop story. And with 3 characters I thought it would be perfect for coop. I llay as micheal while matenplays as franklin or something.

 

They really missed a trick there.

I liked IV's online way better than V's. It had more freedom, no cops ruining everything, and fun races (with no catch-up BS.)

I remember then the first gameplay leaked, i was about to cancel my pre-order. Good thing i only had to pay 30 dollar for this game because i won some PSN cash cards. This game is nothing but a high budget Saints Row imo. It does not feel like GTA imo.

I miss the old days of GTA IV on PC. The 16v16 TDM was way better than anything GTAO has to offer.
