Friend of a friend blip colour

It would be nice to have some indication to others that the person now approaching you while you're hanging/cruising with someone is that they have some sort of affilition with your friend.

Often I've been shot at whilst approaching a friend with the person not realizing that I'm a friend of the other person.

So perhaps a blip colour red just to let people know it's a friendly approaching.

Absolutely yes.

I've been killed a few times with situations like that, and killed someone once or twice as well.

Shouldn't be red though. Just a different shade of blue.

People would abuse it just to kill you

Sure, but if my friend(s) arent in session then I wouldn't go near them anyway.

At some point communication has to get involved. A LOT of the issues people have in FM would be different if people actually used the in game mic communication. But I do also understand the many reasons why it is not used. Friend of a friend color would include too many people and not necessarily mean that person isnt going to shoot you anyway.

I have had this happen and recall thinking this but not sure if it would be feasible or just complicated. Get your kill back though :)

this....

ive had many a session where ive been with friends and a non mutual friend of mine joins the foray... i tell everyone they are friendly and they dont get killed... simples...

its down to whoever has the mutual connection to make that clear... if you know your friend A) has a happy trigger finger, you need to warn them of friend B)'s "friendly" status before they arrive... likewise if your friend B) is a shoot on sight kinda person, warn them that your with friend A) and they are friendly...

if friend a) and/or b) decides to be a douchbag, you need better friends

Yea definitely would like that and also wish there was a friendly fire option which crew members which i dont understand why this is not a feature.

This is what crews are for. Normally if a friend of a friend is playing my friend is a good friend and gets his friend to join the crew. That way the friend of a friend becomes a friend to me and this means that we all become friends. Isn't it great to have friends?
