Making your way in GTAO today takes everything you've got. Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.

 

Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came.

 

If there's something you don't feel needs its own thread but you'd like to write about anyways, welcome to the GTAO longue. Want to give feedback to the led-bys? Share it here.

 

This is not a replacement for Gen Chat or Site Suggestions. If those sections are more appropriate, post there.

There doesn't appear to be the word "Official"" in the title of this thread , Im dubious to it's validity.

 

I have my suspicions that my first visit here may indeed end up with a rohypnol cocktail and a sore bottom.

 

 

Official now added , I am still slightly dubious , it smells funny in here and theres no locks on the toilet doors

Official added and removed from the title. I went with the simpler [GTAO] Longue. The Official GTAO Lounge just sort of blended in to everything..

would like to see the comedy club in GTA online. Movie theaters were a waste imo .

 

Also I never did think Ted Danson was funny. More of a Frasier fan...

So I teamed up with a stranger yesterday thanks to my new headset...he was a Rank 3 but claimed his 1st character was a Rank 22...

so I said, lets do some missions and build you up so you can buy an apartment and I can at least mod a car for you and you can keep or sell.

 

But all he wanted to do was get duplicates of my cars and insisted we find a way I could just give him money. I said, bro, I'm Rank 104 (at the time)I can invite you to Trevor, Martin and Lester jobs which pay way more than what you are making from Gerald and cheap f*ck-face Simeon.

 

He instead would drive us to a bunch of players having a war and get us killed, I was killed twice and I said, f*ck this dumb ass sh*t...I rather be playing with a person who wants to EARN their sh*t and not someone who is Rank 3 and wants to get into gunfights with 80+ Ranked players in free roam. Man, what I wouldn't have given at 'Rank 3' to have been invited by some higher ranked players to join them on high paying missions.

But then again, I earned my way to now Rank 106.

 

But now I can see why people are abandoning the game....THEY DONT WANT TO PUT THE TIME INTO IT!

 

Go play something else. Only real GTA Fans need apply anyways!

theres a few of us (me, soggyinvert, luap, t0lly, cuz05, dratomic) that have discussed this but held off while seeing the success of the Xbox thread...

 

the only thing stopping it from being created is the commitment of "judges" to judge the material, also the question of objectivity... unless anyone has suggestions as to an alternative way to have "approved" status on races ...

I haven't locked anything today, just moved a couple threads. Made this thread because GTA III has one, admittedly for a specific purpose, but I liked the idea.

As long as judges are free to volunteer I think the process is fairly democratic. I like how the xbox thread gives constructive criticism if the race is not approved. Besides being helpful it adds transparency to the process.

 

If you're having problems getting enough judges maybe someone will volunteer here.

eh, i brought the couch, its my special blue couch dammit...

 

but ive not long since finished watching breaking bad... awesome series but i thought the end was a bit weak... cant fault it overall as one of the best ive seen in a while...

 

personally im more a film buff... saw the incredible burt wonderstone for the first time the other day... wicked film

I saw the ps3 thread was locked last night. I made a query on its future status with the staff. No word yet.

 

I've many of these topics and they never seem to last.

It's simple, to the point and looks great.

Also, replace that goddamn 'Cheers' logo, it's pissing me off to an unreasonable level.

If it doesn't work out, and it's not looking too promising, so be it. At least we had a lounge for a hot second.

 

What's wrong with Cheer's? It was a great show. Anyone want to second the logo replacement?
