Crew Challenges

Does anyone know exactly how these damn things work?

first of all, 90% of the time when i go online, playlists, challenges it freezes and doesnt bring the challenges up, i gotta hit L1 or R1 to exit or get out.

Then the 10% of the time it does work, ive figured out that you have to have the cash in hand, (not in bank) to enter the challenge, in my case $500,000,00.

ok so all cool, but are there limits to doing a challenge? because myself and a crew member did a challenge and won the target time, so we both recieved our $500k back plus another $500k giving us a total of $1m which makes sense right?

ok so we think this is cool, lets do it again, we do it again and every time i made sure to have only the challenge money needed and banked the rest, so we win again and guess what, it shows we won $1m again but when we go back to session i in fact lost $1m???? how the hell does this work?

i tried a few times with my crew member and by myself and i can only figure that you can do a challenge once and win cash but the minute you try again, you will lose your entry fee and the winning amount.

I wish R* could better explain these things as it makes no sense, ive tried since then to go and do every challenge once to see if i can build cash up or if i will lose cash but now for 2 days cannot damn well get to the challenges.

Does anyone know how this works?

Not a clue , never owned the game , was thinking about getting it , is it any good ?

What you have to do is get your crew member to leave when you get to the car choosing screen and you just alternate who gets the money

but why? surely its a "crew challenge" and crew members can all join in and have fun at trying to break the target score? it does allow for invites too, it clearly is glitched or bugged then right?

 

so there is no limit to how many times i could do a challenge? would then just focus on doing solo i suppose lol...

Haven't done/found a CC sinds R* pulled them but back then you needed to bank the cash first before starting another one, I bet it's just bugged.

It is very clearly bugged and if you are doing them solo you gain no money if you win and if you lose you lose the amount you bet and the more people you have in your game the more money you get but they sadly still have to leave
