2 hour crazy armoured car chase session!

Last night after my daily wasted 45 mins of trying to get in the same session as my brother the bloody thing timed out AGAIN.

 

As I was put into a random session an armoured car drove by,when in rome I thought so I went after it.

 

Immediately I noticed it was going a bit fast, as I got closer I saw 6 or 7 other players trying to stop it.

 

It was smashing through anything and everything with an army of police and FBI in tow.

 

As one truck was ruined one more truck appeared in it's place.

 

I have yet to see so many random players working together with out trying to kill each other since this game started.

 

This lasted about an hour for me but as some players had big trucks It must have been going on for a lot longer.

 

So to cut a long story short as not to make your eyes bleed.................MOST FUN ON GTA 5 ONLINE I can remember!

Was this a freaky one off?

 

Rockstar ,please more random events that can unite a session PLEASE.

I had some random police attack me the other day - I'd done nothing and then all of a sudden I was being shot at with a wanted level, funny thing is they all turned up in civilian vehicles! There were Coquettes and all sorts with police at the wheel, I felt like they'd been hunting me down in a big sting operation after sniping people from roofs all morning! Random events and super rare cars etc would add some real nice elements to online.

Sounds like a memorable GTA moment to me! That will stick with you for as long as you play GTA! I miss moments like that, GTA V is just full of people who have no mercy and can't have fun without driving in reverse in an entity and throwing sticky bombs at everyone, i'm gutted to have missed such an event!

It's one of those things, I hadn't seen a crate drop for about two months until I got one this morning - I'd attacked half a dozen armoured trucks this morning as well! They just kept spawning every 10 mins or so...

How about undercover police raids/busts on the the player who is bombing the most PV's.

Yeah this has happened to me a couple of times, wish we could figure out how to set this off or maybe it's just complete luck

I tend to just park my car in front and stand behind the door with the automatic shotgun, takes about 3 seconds to get the loot and run. Don't think that was entirely the point of the post though.

Once i found a lobby with 3 level 1000 hackers...no money or bounties being set, but armoured trucks kept spawning one after the other. They never despawned and they were driving really fast. Also, the NPC's driving AI was going nuts. The AI was driving around recklessly at around 100mph...

I was playing an Invite only session last week with two other people. After about an hour long Mission grind, we come back to free roam, and it started. Don't know how or why, but it went on for an hour. Two of us always kept the Armored Truck in sight after we popped it, and sure enough, another one would appear. Magic.

 

As soon as one of us had to leave the session, the trucks stopped spawning. I did notice, that they appeared in free roam, after I delivered a Simeon car, along with a Simeon HPV being blown to bits.

R you a mod? If not really is it worth you spamming a thread to give the guy useless and not on topic information! We all know there are dedicated threads out there. Woopy fekking do.... the mods job is to keep the forum running, keep threads on course etc. Not ur's or anyone elses. Fekking do gooder's on this site will be the death of us all!!

If I've something I want to say on a public forum I create a thread and say it. If the mods want a picture perfect forum then they can do their job and move it wherever it needs to go. Fekking wannabe mods.

 

OP that sounds like a brilliant story and I wish I had of been there to enjoy the few and far between fun you found on a session. I'm sorta glad I got to read it without having to go through pages of stories looking for a interesting one.

I usually have the most fun when everyone gets along in FR. You can think up stupid stuff to do. Mass parachuting is my fav. Hilarious watching everyone bail out of a Titan

Armored trucks once they've been hit, whether they opened or not will speed off around the map as long as they're in view of a player. An armored truck that hasn't been touched drives slow and stops at all lights, let's you know it's full. That said, if a truck you come upon is driving erratically, let it get out of sight and it should disappear and respawn. We've also noticed that with 2 people in an invite only lobby, one guy hits a truck and it disappears from his map, but stays on the other player's. Depending on which is closer, the player still seeing an icon while other player is not either has to chase the truck down, or go into LSC or their garage to make the truck disapper and respawn. Otherwise, that truck will speed around the map like a madman.
