Money reset to $0

Has anyone else had their money reset to $0? I got gifted a ton of cash and collected a few large bounties and ended up with over $12 billion, but that was all removed during the recent sweep and it was cool. I was happy that I'd been left with a fair amount. However, when playing last night my money went from about $300,000 (all totally legit) down to $0 suddenly.

 

I've obviously raised a support ticket on the Rockstar forum, but just wondered if this is an isolated incident or if it's happened to anyone else on here.

Do you have a second character? Possibly it had something to do with it. Also, maybe someone was playing on your account? You never know..

Thanks for the condolences. It's a bummer and has really put a damper on me playing any more. It really didn't help that after checking my transaction history and seeing nothing to explain it, I got a notification message in the top left of the screen telling me I could buy cash online. Errr.... f*ck that! I'm happy to pay for cash if I feel the need, but not after I've just had a load of it "disappear".

 

I've not checked my 2nd character yet, but there's nothing unusual about her. She's got a garage with 8 or 9 Adders in it, like a lot of people here so I don't think I'd have been targeted for that. I'll check her and see, but I don't want to dip into the Adder fund until I hear back from Rockstar. It may be some time.

There's probably a cash limit as to if you get more than a certain amount, they'd reduce it. But secretly, all they want is you to buy cashcards

Lol. Well, I'm not gonna loose any sleep over this. I got an automated response on the Rockstar forum that said if it was nothing to do with the January 15th sweep then to respond and they'd look into it. You know what - f*ck it. I've still got 9 adders (soon to be 7). I'm gonna blow some of that on a tank rampage tonight.

I don't think that was an intentional thing. I've not done anything (more than most) to warrant attention. I suspect a bug somewhere. This isn't a "OMG YOUS GUYS!! C* ARE STEALING ALL OUR MONIES" thread.

Thats exactly what i was thinking Just got two new cars before i logged off without modding them, hope to feck i get a chance to do them up.
