so the second day of returning to this game, im still seeing nonstop murdering for utterly no reason

right now i flew over a bunch of guys and had 3 rockets and a spew of machine gun come my way

i killed them after i dove out of my plane, and then a few seconds after they respawned theyre all paused, so i thought, maybe they were going to vote to kick me, but nooooope

"We're tracking you as a possible cheater, behave yourself or blahblahblah"

are you f*cking kidding me? i hope this is just some stupid automated message for people reporting you, this is ridiculous

It happens in every online video game.

People want the worst for others. They want others to suffer. To feel pain. Be it, racial slurs, insulting, griefing to irritate, reporting so you get banned and stripped from the pleasures of playing online. Even if you didn't do anything wrong. They don't care who they attack, they just do because they can.

Most people are heartless, cruel, unforgiving and without a conscience in gaming. It's the sad reality.

Imagine if everyone playing a game was wired and couldn't move for a certain period of time. Each player would have the ability to send bolts of electricity to another player to cause him/her intense physical pain, they would be doing it constantly. Kids would spam this to others until they would literally kill them without a single thought of what they actually did.

What I'm trying to say is... If a person has the power to cause damage to another person without consequence, he would do it. And that's in a sense of gaming.

Humans are twisted creatures.

Why do you have to resort to cheating :/? But no really, they probably were just mad because they couldn't kill you first and you beat them to the punch by killing them. I would guess it's a normal problem with those kinds of people who have to get the first kill and be able to 'brag' they killed you first. It's a dumb thing to do just because they get beat at their own game to go and try to ruin someone else's experience online by reporting them for nothing.

R* report system is pos, cheater pool isn't even a joke you lose all your money, why don't they review reports instead of sending anyone automatically to the cheater pool by the amount of reports against you.

You really hit it on the head with this post.

It always amazes me how utterly awful people are. But then again you will always seem to get this in an anonymous setting.

Take heart though there are good decent people out here and Im always grateful when I run into one or two from time to time.

Generally the older or more mature a person becomes the less they behave so badly. This isnt a hard rule just sort of a guideline hahhaha

I don't normally fight in free roam, but I do enjoy just absolutely murdering some derp who think it's a good idea to just be like, "oh look, new guy! KIIIIIILLLLL!!!!"

Biohazard Abyss

Goddamit Killzone, your thread title makes me angry.

Anyway, I've been really just playing in invite-only sessions recently. I joined a public session yesterday and went to LSC. There was a guy standing by the door, with no gun out. I pulled up my Sabre, and the door began to open, then he shoots me.

Then I spawn kill him 3 times and he teleports away.

Free roam in a nutshell.

People just love being pricks. It's an itch inside them.

They do it in videogames because if they did it IRL, they'll get their socks knocked off.

Was just pursuing a group of players that could move across the map at mach 3 speeds in any vehicle they chose; they also had automatic weapons that shot tank rounds..was about to get some footage so I could report them but was too tired tonight to stay on.

*Sees plane harmlessly flying over* "SHOOT IT DOWN! IT'S AM IMMEDIATE THREAT!" that is so infuriating... no greater feeling in free roam than going to town on assholes who shoot everything in sight for no reason. You may have been reported but they know they are garbage and there was nothing they can do about it.

Relax, being reported with no real reason why will not get you banned.

I've been kicked and reported a few times by kids all in the same crew who were losing to me in a deathmatch.
They had mics & originally didn't want me around, but instead thought ganging up on me was going to be more fun, so they trash talked me on the mic while the game loaded, i simply checked their stats & while 3 of the 5 guys/gals/trannies playing had 130+ Rank, their fighting stats showed they were likely glitchers instead of experienced players.
4 minutes later, unlucky sods got riddled in lead, they didn't like I was winning, so they kicked me out of the DM after they all reported me for "griefing" & exploiting glitches while sneering at me that R* was going to ban me.

This was a month ago.
Nothing happens if R* checks & sees you have done no harm.
