That's because we're raised in the generation of instant gratification. We have fast internet, fast news, fast food, fast everything. There's no effort to exert to much of the activities we have.

 

And seeing the world in just winners and losers is very close-minded.

 

Not really. The current mentality is "everybody is a winner" and give them a trophy even though they lost. And this is a serious part of the problem. If your going to get a trophy for losing, why try to win? See, in life there is always going to be someone smarter, stronger, faster, richer, etc, than you. And that is a good thing because it gives you something to aspire to. Gives you a reason to improve yourself. But hey, if everybody is a winner then it means I'm a winner and I don't need to do anything to better myself.

 

 

No, you do it in moderation. If you do too much of the winner-loser mentality, people who often lose will lose their self-esteem and also make them not try anymore due to fear of losing again.

 

 

If we don't have people with low self esteem, who is going to dance at our strip clubs?

 

I get what your saying with that, but that also goes into another issue with society. People used to help each other out and help build each other up. But not anymore because it's "me, me, me, I'm a winner so phuck you". Besides all the racial bs I really wish the American mentality was more like it was 60+ years ago.

Even if he's whining about people whining, he's right. I mean, it does get annoying seeing so many bitching threads on this forum now. I like to come here to participate in forum games for online, see some fan-made online challenges, see some "post pics off" and etc but now all I see is everyone bitch about this and bitch about that. Like, can you not? Can we just play the game? And I'm not whining before anyone states it, I'm making a statement.

The thing is, I do ignore the threads but when an entire page is FILLED with them, then I have nothing to click on because I don't wan't to read someone bitching about the game. Especially if it's for patching a glitch. Like, how are you going to be mad for patching a glitch? A GLITCH! I come on here expecting the average forum things. Games, challenges, share your stories/pics, and all other threads. Not this. This isn't a complaint forum. They have that on their support forum. Go to that website and bitch there where they actually READ and REPLY to you bitching threads. Not here.

No, you aren't. I go to next page, I'll post on the threads I like or read and look upon them but that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is the amount of bitching threads overrun the amounts of actual decent threads people would post and have fun on. It's like one big great depression or bragging thing going on here. I'm obviously not going to read the same thing over and over because there is nothing else I'd rather read/post on and I'm not going to go to page 10-20 just to find one thread. And plus, why do that anyways? Why bring a thread back from the dead?

So you're conflicted between necrobumping and having the front page full of whiny threads?

 

That sounds more of your problem instead of a general problem.
