Another question that I ponder, did he intentionally steal that chef guy's car knowing that it was his? Or did he just bust in there and stole it without the knowledge that it was the chef's car? Not very smart. It's not hard to google stuff about lockpicking and breaking into car compounds and get a general idea of what to do. A smarter person would have found out about the auto license plate scanning in SF and had the plates changed somewhere else. and for the love of god spray the car a different colour. No, forget that. A smarter person would have used google to rob a store or something. You can't launder a car.
