In fact, for that i like to punish this people, specially the ones who kill low levels, i wonder the same, where is the fun? I always like to take a jet, and fly arround, manuevers, remember once a guy said "cool man, look at that guy, he's training his flying skills" (always try to fly under, between anything) but from that day, never hear something like that, even someone try five times steal a jet, just to come and try to shoot me down, but he just used the missiles, i shoot him down and he left, just for see tanks trying to shoot me down, thankfully rhino's cannons don't have so much accuary

Nets you little RP if anything and whatever chump change the victim had in their pocket. The only thing it actually bumps is the "almighty" K/D ratio which let's face it a majority of you idiots make like it's the bible the way you still think the Adder and Akuma are the best land vehicle in the game. I do a bulk of my killing in Deathmatch, but I will defend myself accordingly against knuckleheads like the quoted above me. I also believe that eventually R* will do enough to make this a more social game than it is and still satisfy all of you wanna-be gangsters out there who think that the game "meant to be" just running around town shooting anything that moves with a name over their head. If you can honestly sit there and think that's what it's all about, then you're a simple ass too.

 

In the end, we all bought the game so we're free to play as we see fit, but that doesn't for one second justify the actions of a bunch of trigger happy, simple minded neanderthals who's only means of enjoyment, "me shoot you, hahah". f*ck that noise...bring it to a DM where you can't run away. Bring that puberty level spike in testosterone into a race or two. Try something more productive, because in this posters opinion, I don't care what your level is, if you're just freeroam killing you're just a small time hood to me, to be dealt with accordingly...and to quote Ice Cube, "There's a Big Picture out there, it's a big world...and it goes beyond a hood, beyond a street corner."

 

But like I said, I shoot first before a chump gets his satisfaction. Only my crew and my friends are exempt in open sessions, which I rarely play mind you. Nothing can be helped that a majority of GTAO players are armchair bad-asses.

People have just as much reason to "cry" about as they do to gloat about it, hence the term "public forum". What R* needs to do is put these friendly servers back into the mix so that people who want to be social with randoms can, and people who want to be stupid with them (like you) can go and swing your e-peen (or iPeen if you're an Apple guy) accordingly.

I know it may sound corny but when I created my character I decided on a personality and motivating factors which would drive him to feel the need to settle for this criminal lifestyle. Easy money. That's it in a nutshell.

It just seems more appealing to me to roleplay as a believable criminal character rather than just some beach-bum, para-military terrorist.

Every good story needs a plot, not just characters.

The definition of fun is down to the individual. I actually enjoy causing a bit of havoc in freemode...mainly because I done everything else so many times. Blame Rockstar for not giving us new content for so long....

I think it's more about competition than the act of killing itself. The whole game could use paintball bullets, and though less cool, could still be fun.

There's plenty of competition to be had in races and DMs, yet people choose to do the most (as said before) insignificant act to player progression possible.

 

OT: Have to agree with ugotsmoked. There is plenty to do in this game, but it's the fault of the simple minded majority of players who're content running around in freeroam killing each other that a lot of content is barely touched.

Free roam is a war zone , if you dont know this by now you are way behind.

If all you wanna do if drive around and encounter friendly civilians then just play invite only.

Nothing to be gained from cooperation. Not very often, anyway. I don't know why I even bothered to try and help the guy make it with the high priority vehicle before. It's not like splitting ~$10k is really all that appealing, especially when every instinct and experience I have tells me >90% of players would screw you anyway.

I'm trying to process this train of thought without feeling some form of pity for you in the very idea of thinking in that way. So GTAO behavior is how they behave in real life? Now you know for a fact that nobody acts anything near the way they do in GTAO or on the forums for as they do in real life, because all most do is act bad-ass while hiding behind their glass forcefields. You're the one with a weak personality here rnb010 for the simple fact of you're judging somebody based on their style of play in a way that goes beyond the game. Maybe it's not a weak personality, but it damn sure is a sad personality.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is not about killing. It's about money making and surviving. GTA Online is the same but with other players. It was intended to be a more cooperative game where you make missions with other players and where you can do activities with them. Unfortunately the D-Bags who wanted only to kill and ruin other players' day came back from GTA 4 and other run and gun games. They are the ones who started glitching to get tanks and blow everyone up thinking they are so boss at the game.

 

There is a deathmatch mode in case you didn't notice. Use it instead of tracking me down while I am having fun riding my bike in the mountains with some friends. It might make you feel like you are playing CoD once again.

Why would you kill someone who didn't even provoke you? This is what GTA online has become. Kill, Kill, Kill... Where is the fun? Why can't we all just take sandkings, load up atv's and haul them up the mountain?
