ok rockstar, seriously fix the f*cking tank insurance BS.....

I was just in a game and parked my car on the street and got out and heard a tank so i went passive and i'm walking up into that parking garage near LSC and sure enough some tank douche comes up there and tries to run me over. well he missed and i got over a wall where he couldn't get me. next thing i know my personal vehicle is destroyed and it says i need to call MM to file a claim? shouldn't it say "x has destroyed your PV"

 

i thought the tank only didn't have to pay if i drove my car into them. if my f*cking car is parked and a tank blows it up and or runs over it, they better f*cking pay!

 

i dashboarded before the game had a chance to save so hopefully the car will just reappear in my garage but f*ck that.

 

*edit and the car isn't in my f*cking garage. really R* at least give me the option to dashboard out before you save so i can not have to pay the f*cking nisurance.....

 

$1725 down the f*cking drain because some asshat in a tank blew up my parked car? and R* wonders why people glitch money.

I think the issue is that when tanks are stationary and blow up PVs they don't pay insurance.

 

I tried this yesterday.. for the first time I tank griefed a lobby to see if was exciting and if it sent a 'thrill up my leg'.. but i found myself bored. When I saw someone coming I would immediately stop and then start blasting away.... didn't get a single bad sport or pay insurance for anybody ! It's ridiculous.

 

But if you throw a sticky on someone's car and stand there and detonate.. you get a bad sport and pay the insurance. That R* logic is f*cked... but shareholders need people to start buying cash cards and the devs will do anything to make it happen.

It's delightful if you kill them in fun ways. Earlier I chased a guy in a truck across the map hitting his truck to make it go on its side. I didn't kill him once as I let him switch trucks when they got too messed up.

I wasn't at the LSC, i was a couple blocks away at that parking garage that overlooks LSC. the one where you have to save that guy during the mission and escort him back to madrazo's house. my car was parked on the side of the street down below the garage and i went passive, walked up to the top to look out over LSC and the tank came up, tried to kill me, couldn't and then turned around. next thing i know my PV is destroyed and it didn't say "xxx has paid for your PV" so he either shot it or ran it over, but either way, i wasn't even in it. he should have paid for it.

because i don't like assholes costing me money in a game that revolves around money and the game company has made it clear they want to make it hard for you to make money so you have to spend real money to get fake money?

 

I don't even bother taking my entity or stinger out in public lobbies because i don't want to spend $10k each time some twat feels like playing world of tanks.

how so? you'd rather spend hours grinding to buy a car, mod it, and then have some douche destroy it 5 seconds later and lose it all? I think the insurance is a good idea but they need to reinstate the penalty for tank users. yes people were giving tanks car enemas, i'm guilty of that as well, but i only did it when assholes in tanks would go around spawn killing people for no reason. i would use it as a wake up call to the tank owner to stop being a douche. Now R* has basically sided with all the COD fags and made it so they can destroy as many cars as they want without penalty (unless they run over one apparently while moving cause i had a hearse get squashed by a friend who crossed the road into me on accident and crushed me and he paid)

 

but there is no excuse for not having to pay when a PARKED vehicle is unattended and destroyed. That car was no threat to him whatsoever.

Glitch money every time we lose it to this BS? I sure as hell am not buying a cash card. Fwiw i'm not poor. I have $9 million but i refuse to lose money because of some f*cking tank.

 

For the record i didn't glitch the $9m. 2.5 of it is from jobs and random car sales and 6m is from adder sales.
