Online missions

Probably a silly question and I'll probs word it terribly... but whats the deal with your own characters progress through the online? Someone told me you end up doing missions for Trevor eventually, do you meet many contacts? Are there actual cinematics involving your character? And do you end up doing your own missions similar to the ones you do in single player?

Play it and you'll see......

But yes, you meet a few contacts, you do work for Trevor, there are cinematics involving your character and the missions are quite similar to SP.

Yes, yes, yes and I would say no, the missions are not like single player persay. Its usually go here, get that, bring it back to someones lockup.

Ballistic Jello

There's only one mission that I feel immerses you in the game as much as some of the single player missions from V and others, and it is likely the favorite mission of most people on this board.

The Los Santos Connection.

You meet some major NPC characters, but will only see them in big cutscenes as an introduction to the NPC. After that, some missions have outros in which your character will give the NPC a package or car that was the mission objective.

Missions you do are always for an NPC.

Mhm. I played a good missions yesterday for the first time. You go to a warehouse, break into an office and then a safe in the office and take a briefcase to lester. It was pretty fun and immersive.

the lack of progression was like one of my first complains when after a couple weeks playing gtao...

R* said that GTAO is based a couple months before the event in V, but after you get to level 35-40 you have unlocked pretty much all the available characters, you may unlock a couple different missions but overall once you reach that point its like if time stops and youre in a limbo.

days and weeks pass and you dont feel like youre getting anywhere near the events in V.
