DrDetroit
So I'm watching Law and Order SVU - Popular, and there's Mike D (don't know the actors name) playing a parent of a teen who's been raped. I recognized his voice, then recognized his face. Thought that was pretty cool. He looks just like the GTAV character, which I had not realized. R* actually modeled this guy's features and build for the game. Good day, DrDetroit

Fallcreek
Steven Ogg actually appeared on Law and Order too lol. Oh yeah, Michael De Santa's actor is Ned Luke.
mastershake616
Trevor on Law & Order and others: EDIT: And here's some of Michael's acting chops: Luke and Ogg shouldn't have problems finding roles in the future. DrDetroit
I'm watching it on USA right now...he's pretty good. Huh...had no idea about Ogg (Treavor) either, thanks for the links. Waiting to see Franklin pop up somewhere. DrDetroit

Ned Luke is Ned Luke, and he's awesome, but I think Ogg might be the more versatile actor, as seen above.

Michael would have killed that punk kid, the kids dad, Capt Kragan, Elliot, Olivia and everybody else in the building. Would be a nice DLC scenario. I'm surprised Kragan didn't make him infiltrate IA headquarters in return for a solid conviction against the little sh*t. Rumbunctious
Alec Skorpio
I heard that Ogg does a lot of stage work and was classically trained or something, so he probably is more versatile. But Ned Luke is still a damn good actor. iainspad and mastershake616
universetwisters
I remember seeing that episode a few weeks ago. I was literally begging for him to be behind the crime just so he can yell at the detectives and I can cherish his voice once more.
iainspad
Here's a good question: do you guys think that GTA V might have been their big break considering its success? I personally think that they're both good actors, but I think GTA V might make them have bigger opportunities, if that's what they desire to in their future work. They're talented guys, after all. I've heard that Steven Ogg is co-starring in a movie with Henry Rollins later this year, but there hasn't been any news on that front since December (check out 'He Never Died' on IMDb if you're interested). They might be aiming for the festival circuit with it? But I'd like to see more of both Ned Luke and Steven Ogg - providing the right roles come up. But then, it's their call. Who's to say what's around the corner? iainspad
mastershake616
Here's a good question: do you guys think that GTA V might have been their big break considering its success? I personally think that they're both good actors, but I think GTA V might make them have bigger opportunities, if that's what they desire to in their future work. If GTA V were a movie, it'd be a no-brainer, but of course it's not that, so we have to wonder whether or not they will garner the same level of respect. It's an incredibly successful, worldwide piece of media, and they star as the main characters of said product. But those who've got GTA V fresh on the mind aren't likely to be thinking primarily of the protagonists and their respective performers. Imagine you're in charge of casting for a major feature. You want the shoes of the project's characters to be filled with the cream-of-the-crop. You pick up Steve Ogg's portfolio, and the first thing listed under experience is "Grand Theft Auto V (video game) - Trevor Phillips." That doesn't hold much water, unfortunately. I don't think it's fair to come to conclusions on these guys based on their respective performances in GTA V, though. They were just as talented before and deserve to be respected as real actors with real talent. Also, Ned Luke put on 25 pounds in preparation to play Michael. Part of acting is devotion, and for a guy to do something like this for a non-live action role says a lot about how devoted he is to his craft. iainspad and RiaJay21

Naughtius Maximus
^ Above videos wouldn't work, sadly. =( I think this is the same, though: Oh crap. He's much like Trevor right there. Yup, I heard Ned Luke played a small role in "Law & Order" (I'm not sure but I could have seen that episode as well) and Steven Ogg is said to be widely known for his performance at stageworks. No doubt, voicing cast did really good job with the impersonations but V could have more interesting characters, Edited February 21, 2014 by TheUnholy
