Still playing GTA Online, and enjoying it.

I thought I'd post something in contrast to the whinging and negative commentary that's been flooding the GTA fan base lately, because may as well post something against the grain. Can't have the same flavour all the time.

 

Maybe it's because I have little time to invest in GTA Online right now during the week, but playing it this weekend has made it enjoyable. As much as my performance in Deathmatches and Bounty Hunting hasn't been up to par, I've been doing a lot more activities and been able to partake in jobs with multiple people. As much as I didn't enjoy the "Forest Fire" deathmatch with Tanks, I did enjoy being part of something different than I usually do (robberies, car collections, armoured trucks etc).

 

I still don't enjoy the LS economy as the earning and spending rate is f*cked, but money isn't that hard to come by if you commit the time. That, and multiple Gang Attacks can help add ammo. Race practices can also help fill the wallet. That, and doing a terrible freefall job in the parachuting with other people and watching us fail together.

 

I've also come to discover why Prison Thugz Fight is the worst deathmatch ever.

 

Having said all that, I'm still finding the time enjoyable. Spending a few hours, bounty hunting, crate chasing, fighting, getting more vehicles, racing and parchuting. Subjectively speaking, I always find something to do, and even if I don't succeed I still enjoy taking part, and I don't see where the boredom lies. I thought I was bored at a point, but I guess only doing it so often helps my mind feel refreshed.

 

I think what I've enjoyed the most is playing with a lot more people. It makes a change from playing some things solo or only with one other person.

 

All in all, even playing the game for a total of 9 days, I'm still enjoying this game, and will keep playing when I can during this busy point of time.

 

So, what's say you guys? You huys still enjoying it, and why?

I play for like 5 to 6 hours a day. 8 to 9 hours on weekends when my Girlfriend is away. That says it all!

I still play it, just SP tho. Now if they came out with houses and new weapons and vehicles for both SP and MP I'd pretty much go back but until then I'm out of MP.

I have been playing since almostday one (had a small break while I got live sorted) I still love it and the GTA series is about the only game I play except RDR and La Noire

I still play Daily as we'll and still love the game just as the first time I played. I find new ways to have fun and exploring all the map has to offer, espically underwater.

been playing GTAO for about a month now. i only play open lobbies and i'm still having plenty of fun. have seen alot of awesome battles, met a few cool players and wouldn't of met them any other way than an open lobby. the PvPers and griefers can sometimes be a bit frustrating when i want to do other things, but i still have fun overall. i'm just going to take my time, check it out and enjoy it all. i figure V will be around about as long as IV, so why bum rush my way up through it. probably why there's a number of people saying their bored or asking "i've got all this, so now what?"

I spent about 3 hours online last night, and didn't fire a single shot... I test drove a few trucks up in the hills of blaine county (Rebel and Sandking, still haven't decided which one I want) and buzzed people in a Buzzard for a long time (freaks them out! but I didn't shoot at anyone).

 

Had a good time, sold a few cars, didn't realize three hours had passed till I was done. I died a few times, but not at the hands of anyone else. Nor did I kill anyone. Imagine that!

I'm playing GTA:O a lot lately, mostly because my internet has been awful and made BF4 rage inducing.

 

 

I wouldn't say i'm enjoying it. I'm mostly just going through the motions of having to recoup cash that i've spent. I'm almost indifferent towards it.

Still loving the game after 3 months of playing it almost every night. I'm constantly finding something new to enjoy and even when I'm solo I can do races to help level me up. Finally got to lvl 70 so I'll be buying my tank and having some laughs in that.

 

Heists will be great but until they arrive I've still got plenty to keep me entertained.

I find now days Lobbies are empty since the reset. On average i start a game and only 8/9 people are playing. Very quite..

I think when we see people complain about lack of content and how bored they are, it makes us feel the same way as we can understand why, but GTAO, quite literally, is what you make of it. I think a lot of people can get bored because they can play it aimlessly, without an ambition in mind and it can make it feel boring as if you run around doing sh*t for no reason it doesn't give any fulfilment.

 

It somewhat reminds me of when I played Minecraft; I can't play it unless I have a goal in mind. It can be a bit boring if I don't have something to work towards, and it takes the fun out of it for me. Recently I've had a few goals in GTAO, such as getting to level 80, getting the Combat MG, making $150K in a session, new threads and more races and parachuting done solo, but the work into doing all those things is what makes me enjoy it.

Been playing since day 1, and every minute has been so fun. I just wish some people would stop complaining about the game, because if people had the same experiences i have had then it would change their minds completely. And I always appreciate what i have.

Haven't been playing since day 1 since I got it last christmas but outside of being paranoid 24/7 since I don't use a mic since I have a speech impairiment and all that fine stuff, it's been fun. I do agree people tend to complain on these forums a bit TOO much.
