Yeah I've noticed this too. I've shot quite a few people's tyres out who are level 70+. I always think to myself 'Why don't you have bullet proof ones?' and on top of that, the amount of people who try to shoot mine out when they are bullet proof, there is always some dweeb who tries endlessly until they deflate, however it never happens. I've turned my blip off before and stood and watched some noob shoot my tyres until the car blew up in his face and killed him. Stupid..

I was in a random car I found last night and someone tried to do this to me. I just turned into one of the walled in parking lots, got out, killed him as he was trying to drive in with my pistol

 

Bulletproof tires add up, they're like 24k, and if you have 10 cars, that's a lot of money to sling around. They could even be saving up for weapon mods, which are also costly. Who knows.

Armor and bullet proof tires are practically a necessity for this game. First 2 upgrades when i get a new car. What's the point of speed if cops or players can bring you to a halt with 2 shots?

ohhhh, didn't know this. is that the case for SP - MP cars? I've never had my M2 Buffalo in a mod shop since it came into the game how I wanted it, I'll have to verify the tires next time I'm in game.

 

Although I don't drive it in free roam anyway so it doesn't matter that much.

I feel some people have the thought that if they drive good the tires won't get shot out, or that other players won't try because the majority (that I've played with anyway) have BP tires, so there's no use shooting there.

 

I only shoot there when they are a low level.
