Spadge
Hey folks ! I recently got my self a new pc with windows 7, 64 bit. I tried to install and launch San Andreas. Everything's went fine, but when I started playing I wasn't able to to anything with my mouse. In the menu I'm just able to move it, I'm not able to click on something. When I start a game I can just use the keyboard keys, my mouse is completely unutilisable during gameplay, help ! I searched for a few topics, found something about people having issues just with one mouse button, but here it's the entire devide which doesn't work. I knew the problem from my older PC under XP, but there, going into menu helped and I could move the mouse again, moreover it never happened at the very beginning of playing, just after a few clicks to the main menu. On this PC I can't move it at all. I hope some of you know the problem and could tell me what to do to fix it, Greetings, your Alex
lil weasel
A standard fix is to run the game in Win98 Mode. You have a legit download (steam) game OR You have installed your DVD game in drive C:/ You have installed with Admin Privileges? You are not using a 'Crack' or other Mod? A Rockstar suggestion is to get a generic USB GamePad, then you won't need a mouse. Console USB game controllers don't work well without hours of tweaking, unless you're lucky. You are not using a stolen (warez/torrent/pirated) game.
