DeathMatch Question?

Why is it that when I'm in a DeathMatch and I lock onto someone (I play in auto aim) and start shooting them, They then lock onto me shoot me and kill me?

 

I started shooting first, shouldn't I have got the kill?

 

Note:

I'm using the most powerful weapon there is in the game.

I'm level 140.

I have Full heavy body armor (The best one)

I have maxed out everything (Bar wise)

 

They shouldn't have an advantage over me cause I've maxed out everything, Plus I got a few rounds in first. No Gifs

I'm not complaining, Just want to understand why?

You can still slightly move the crosshairs even in auto aim.

so if i lock onto them then pull down in the left Analog stick a little (raise the white dot) I'll get the head shot?

Might not always work but you have a better chance of getting the kill depending on how quick and accuratley you move it.
