GTA V is almost perfect, but there is room for improvements. Luckily there will be alot of support for GTA Online, and Rockstar already stated that they are going to listen to fan feedback.

 

So this thread will be a compilation of all the patches and updates fans want. Two important things to note.

 

1. These requests have to be reasonable. Dont ask for something to crazy like a completely new protagonist, or a giant island.
2. NO vehicle driving/damage requests. There are enough threads about this topics so theres no need to discuss that in this thread.

I will update the OP with your requests as they come in. Here is what I have so far.

 

Upgrades-Items you would like added to the game as either DLC or just upgrades in general. Keeping GTAO in mind

• Capability to rob clothing/tattoo/barber/ammunation locations
• More convenience stores. There are alot of unenterable 24/7's that could easily have a copy paste interior added.
• More vehicle mod options like bullet proof windows, stripes, and decals
• More weapon skins/camo's
• Fishing mini game
• Visible Armor
• More Strangers and Freaks Missions
• Vigilante/Parametic/Firefighter Missions
• Return of police computer
• Toggle Siren's and Lights separately
• Drivable Trains
• Migrate some GTAO features to SP(Safehouses, Insurance, etc)
• Casino
• Arcades
• Migrate the skyfall cheat to a wingsuit option
• Crouching/Prone
• Switching aiming shoulders
• Interiors:Burgershots,Hospitals, Cluckin Bells
• Able to enter the businesses you own
• SP Inventory
• More strip club interiors
• More customization over control schemes(Classic Controls, Custom Controls)
• Vehicle cockpit view
• More customizations over the HUD
• Billiards
• Set default radio station for each character
• Set default weapon for each character
• Poses during selfie pics
• Hacking atm minigame
• More aiming reticule options like color
• More food locations for health
• Car handling and top speed should be affected more by mods
• Speedometer
• Towbar upgrades for all vehicles
• Sensitivity options for driving motorcycles/quads
• Pet purchases
• Custom plates without iFruit app

• Protagonists dont change appearance after switching(optional)
• Vehicles purchased or stored dont disappear
• Grab ledges after jumping a gap
• No more freezing screens
• Leave vehicles running when exiting them(option)
• Saveable cheats
• Sumersible FPS lag
• Save snapmatic pics to console and then upload at another time

Edit: Rockstar needs to do something about dissapearing cars from garages and when pulling up to do a mission. Ive lost over $500,000 in automobile sexiness do to this occurance. Make the vehicle impounding consistent, and fix the glitch that keeps resulting in both bought and stolen cars disapearing from my garages.

Like I said in the OP, no vehicle driving physics request. Im sure they know about this already and this is a heated topic so we will leave it out of this thread.

I saw a dude rob an ammunation, but i wasn't able to pull out my gun in the store.

 

You can also just kill the clerk and shoot the register to get the cash FYI.

If im not mistaken you can pull your weapon out before hand and enter, but you can only kill the clerk, not rob the register

The dude on the stream killed the clerk and then just shot the two registers and money came out, and was laying beside the register. I'll try this myself after work.

I think a little fishing mini-game would be great as a patch or even a DLC.

If the NPCs are doing it then I think it's fair for the player to be allowed to do this.

Would be great to have different species of fish in different areas.

Letting people install Disc 2 on the Xbox and Fix the Pop in problems.

Hum. Lets say they do fix the "car problems," would something like that be mandatory? For people who don't have an issue with that.

 

Only thing I'd complain about is protagonist not dying so easily. I.e: health goes way down jumping into a wall by accident. And quicker reflexes for when we fall down.

 

EDIT: reflexes as in getting up faster. They take their sweet ole time

1. Brighter LED's on cop cars.

2. When cops are called. Send a variety of cop cars. Not just the same looking cruisers.

3. Lets us play as cop.

4. Be able to use lights WITHOUT sirens.

5. Use computer in cop car to run license plates.

In addition to more vehicle custom options (different wheel sizes, more suspension options, more custom paint options, etc.), I'd like to see certain existing vehicle modifications available for all vehicles instead of being limited to certain types of vehicles. Being able to install side exhaust pipes and spoilers on vans would be great.

Although it's a great game it's not "near perfect".

 

And by that I mean there is room for improvement, I love the game though

let us drive trains

characters keep the clothes you put on them

let us upgrade our garages in SP so we can have the fancy 10 car garages

let us purchase safe houses that was supposed to be allowed in the first place

Fix the stock market system. Some stocks in some companies stay stagnate when they should've plummited, etc. This makes the stock market system almost useless if you can't affect it. No, it's not real life, but an in-game stock market should at least be more manipulable and follow basic economics better than it does now (at least on my copy).

-Maybe impossible, but adjustable deadzones for the thumb-sticks (deadzones are still too big imo)

-More thunder storms, and different colored skies, (love the purple night skies, but it's overdone)

-Fix ped shoving, and peds always running away.

Of course. The patches are for SP and GTAO. The upgrades are for GTAO

Still I don't know, while there might be custom content creation I can't see them adding features for some time but yes, point taken, they will probably do so after GTA Online matures

I've not played even a quarter of the game but I've noticed while exploring that there's a lot of buildings with interior. You just cant enter them.

 

Maybe they could just go around LS and change the locked doors to open? Why have interior but have them impossible to get in.

The cars lost on the road might be in the car repound, I've had to pay a fee to get a car back. You can see the icon on map. Edited September 18, 2013 by trees4life

Exactly, there are alot of places where you can clearly see inside but not enter. GTAO maybe???

 

@Spider: Well GTAO has two weeks before release, and I know they have high hopes for it. Even if these upgrades come as DLC it will be better than nothing. And Im sure they would rather put content in a DLC that they know fans are going to want, rather than hoping they will

Why do people want to have the protagonist clothes change? Every time you it ads to the point that they are going on with their lives including showers and changing clothes. That would suck if they take that out.

Crouching and the ability to switch shoulders while aiming. These were in RDR and MP3, it's a step back to not have them here.

Then, they'll take like 10 seconds to empty the register, and throw a bag of money at you when they're done.

No... did you read it? You aim the gun at the person (once you're inside), then they empty the register, and throw a bag of money at you. You don't need to pull the trigger.
