I have a muzzle brake on mine, but I also keep the (non-heavy) sniper rifle with a suppressor in my loadout.

I can't help you with most of these questions, but I don't think a scope actually reduces RecoilShakeAmplitude, and the heavy barrel only reduces damage dropoff, i.e. to a 50% reduction at max. range instead of 70%. Weapons without damage dropoff like the heavy sniper excluded. But it's been a while since I did weapon testing.

Interesting. From a game design standpoint, that's a good way to give an increase without actually giving an increase.
