Since we're all sharing our rigs..

CPU: Core i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz

MOBO: Z77 MPower

GPU: EVGA GTX 670 FTW

RAM: 2 x Corsair XMS3 DDR3,1333-8GB KIT

OS: Windows 8 Enterprise

Even you are going offtopic? Seriously? This thread is about GTA V for PC, not "Tell me about your PC".

What rig you have is pivotal to wether or not you can play GTA V on PC, and if so on what settings. So people sharing their rigs is directly relevant to the discussion at hand.

What do you think is necessary to play V not just on the highest Settings, but with Enb, HD Texture etc, because i buyed my pc 2 years ago and play Gta 4 modded on highest Settings with around 30-40 fps.

My Specs are:

Intel Core i5-3570k 4,2 Ghz

D3 8GB 1600-999 RipjawsX

Gtx 660 OC 2048MB GDDR 5 192bit

I think i can play V on high settings with enb, etc., but im thinking to get better graphicscard in future, dont know. We have to wait for official requirements. Days are Month now, since R* says nothing.:(

Damn it guys, system requirements is not even released yet. f*ck it, the game is not even announced at the moment.

How you are going to speculate requirements of the game just by looking at overall system specs? Explain me this magic. Its not like system requirements will be based on these forums average PC spec...

Some can base it not only on their own rigs but it can't be far off from the GTA IV specs. It'll demand more power, but it cannot demand too much.

Also, chill out... Sounds like someone needs a water cooler for their CPU

guys... guys... I have a question. I was looking at GTA series on wikipedia, and stumbled upon the awards GTA V got, and got nominated for. Then at the bottom of the page, there were PENDING awards that will take place at game developers choice awards. This event will take place on March 19, 2014 .

Is it possible that they will announce it then? (if it does not come these days)...

Every retailer is confident and when it gets to spam of the questions regarding official info, they respond with a robotic sentence just like Rockstar "We have no information"

They are only doing it to bring people to their sites

Nah, I doubt that highly. Too late for that.

Back on my post, I meant liquid cooler not water. Whoops

These are only rough estimates

@GtaSaCrazyFreak: This requires more powerful cards:

GTX670,680 ,GTX770,780

That reply is from elgiganten.DK

Meanwhile it's elgiganten.SE who claimed to start taking preorders on Friday

Whatever, it's the first screenshot that matters, that reply is from Elgiganten.se.

They are basically saying "We don't know when/if GTA V PC will be released, but you'll be able to pre-order it from our store on Friday, just in case."

I have a feeling that they know something  otherwise why even tell people to pre-order ?

and as far as i know elgiganten has its reputation.

Most of us are estimating the requirements looking at MP3's requirements. Considering that MP3 was not a port and with the evidence we have, the PC version doesn't seem to be a port either. So Max Payne 3 is the closest we can get to V's requirements although V's will be slightly higher considering it is an open-world game.

Well there is nothing more to talk, anyway I hope I can run GTA V maxed with my PC ( see signature ) I cant even run GTA IV with 40-50 fps, they usually go below 40

Processor and RAM are good enough, but it takes more than a GTX660 to max out GTAV if you also want to play with high resolution textures (not stock ones but modded ones), ENB, et cetera.

I will give you a detailed instruction as to how to tell whether someone can run a future title on their PC or not: looking at the system requirements of previous titles that were based on the same engine, and assume that the game is properly optimized.

But seriously, this is the about most accurate guess we have as of now. We do know that GTAV has been in the works for PC since at least a couple of years if not longer, so expecting the same level of optimization as Max Payne 3 had is justified, in my opinion. It's certain that the requirements will not be much higher since V isn't a next-gen title after all.

This gives an idea of what the most common rigs looks like, theres not an single braindead that thinks the pc specs will be based on those who post on this forum dohhhh..

my god, some people >_<...

Anyway on the other hand, i'd say the announcement is close or either we get some real fresh news pretty soon.

You don't get the point, aren't you? This is not talking about the minimum/recommended ssytem requirements nor did

we speculate anything regarding the system requirements. We are only sharing our rigs, which IS related to the discussion.

GTAV PC topic ---> sharing our rigs and discussing about the PC related stuff.

Then you can google that. GTA Forums does not represent PC gamers as a whole.

And yeah, I get the point, but it is funny. Somehow its GTA V PC discussion, not PC (you see, there is GTA V word). We are basically talking about nothing here.

BS_BlackScout

If you don't like people posting their specs get out of the topic and back after some days.

You're just losting time complaining about it.

Even the mods are posting their own systems...

BTW, we don't have too much to discuss ATM.

Will be like MP3. They will not repeat the error of IV (that only super pc could play).

Every decent PC will can handle this game because that means more sales

Just saying... You've got more people responding to your post then people that have posted their specs.

Goal has been reached i guess.

Just 25 more minutes and we should know whether we are getting something today

If you guys would know sth about Rockstars history, it's that they announce major stuff, new games at around 8am EST. They release trailers and stuff like that at Noon EST.
