Crap, when I was on the index page, I saw this topic title, it's a new title and I thought GTAV PC must be finally announced!

But it's still dark days for us PC gamers :(

Im more excited for WATCH_DOGS.

I played V on the PS3, finished the singleplayer and had no idea what further to do, because it got boring.

Same to GTA Online, at around R15-20 you realize how repetitive and boring it actually is. Shouldve kept IVs MP...

 

Im still hoping for a PC version tho so i can mod the sh*t out of it.

Just think about how it'll look like after a few years with all the graphic mods.. IV looks close to real life with some mods right now.

Is it shorter than GTA IV main story ?

 

Actually I think if it is it's all for the benefits of modding, I never actually got a chance to mod GTA IV PC until end of last year.

Watch Dogs looks quite boring imo, no offence. I am in no way interested for WD, I'm more interested in The Crew and The Division.

Well, I saw in some website that the GTA IV has 91 missions and GTA V has around 60. But ppl say that V has more things to do/explore.

I have always sent an email to rockstargames from the site, and their answer was always vague, like, "but we have no information about Always check the website."

I can for sure say, that all russian pc gamers wait for this game and we have one of the biggest pc markets here, so i guess the number of people waiting for this game is big enough for making it happen. We just need to have a patience/

Don't really want to vote for now...There was so much false information in the last several months that I just feel so confused. All I want is a tiny bit of official information.

Yeah. I feel sad because there's a lot of rumors. But nothing really official now. Sometimes I feel certain that they're about to announce a pc version, but at the same time I just feel confused and doubtful. So, I'm still waiting, tired of it actually.

still being optimistic here so i voted for Jan 27th - Feb 2nd,and yes im having fingers crossed for that conference call,common sense is telling me,we will hear news regarding V - maybe heist,single player dlcs or pc version,something for sure,besides it's not that far.Of course it may be announced the day after but it's closing.Also voted for Junes release date,its just realistic with no delays.

I think the point everyone is getting at is Rockstar's window of time to make the fans happy is closing quickly, and before long people will give up.

I don't think the logs were leaked until just now.

They are official, but I don't think they were out in the public 'till last week.

Oh guys, and that Thiago Diniz CEO of Nuuvem brazilian thing, is unconfirmed. I'm brazilian, and later his statement, he explained the situation. He was talking about the "dates that Amazon leaked", he said. Now we don't know if he was just trying to correct himself, if you know what I mean. So, what has Thiago Diniz said, was only one more rumor, a weak one.

No, they were found the same day the game released on the consoles.

The problem is heist being removed before release, the information i heard about heists online is that you would have to set them op the same way as in the singleplayer, so stealing cars for getaway vehicles, decide which crew members to do the heists with, where to hit, how to hit, ect.

 

And for setting up heists you would need RP Points which would be the only reason to do jobs.

Combine this with the mission creator and you would have a game that wouldnt get boring that quick im sure.

 

Since all you can do online now is either free roam, rob stores and do missions its no wonder it gets boring so quickly.

 

Not even mentioning all the PC mods that would make it another 200% more fun to play and keep playing.

Well, it would all be guesswork, but for LA Noire it was:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 / Windows Vista Service Pack 1 / Windows XP Service Pack 3 / OnLive for PC or Mac
  • Processor: Intel Dual Core 2.2GHz to Quad Core 3.2GHz / AMD Dual Core 2.4Ghz to Quad Core 3.2Ghz
  • RAM: 2GB to 8GB
  • Hard drive space: 16GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1536MB / Radeon HD 3000 512MB to Radeon HD 6850 1024MB
  • Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9 Compatible
  • DVD Drive

 

For Max Payne 3 it was

  • Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
  • Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ or AMD Dual Core 2.6 GHZ, or better
  • 2GB System RAM
  • NVIDIA® GeForce 8600 GT 512MB RAM
  • or AMD Radeon™ HD 3400 512MB RAM

 

Although for MP3, to play it on high, they R* recommended:

  • Windows 7/Vista (32 or 64 bit)
  • Intel i7 Quad Core 2.8Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • 3GB System RAM
  • NVIDIA® GeForce 480 1GB RAM
  • or AMD Radeon™ HD 5870 1GB RAM

 

You'd expect V to be more resource hungry than MP3 because it is newer, and Open World. I'd suggest probably 6GB Ram, and a graphics card a couple of released further forward from the ones quoted here, but that's guess work.

 

If IV is anything to go by, I would make sure you've got a rig comfortably in excess of the RECOMMENDED specs (not the MINIMUM).

 

Not true. For Rockstar, there are four categories of System Requirements.

 

 

It is true because these are correct. I didn't say that they didn't have additional classifications - but is there really much point in quoting them all? These'll plus a bit more will give people a rough idea of what you might expect.
