Will be amazing that V mods comes with steam workshop. But is utopic.
If the announcement comes in March i think that wil be in the finals weeks. Maybe tuesday 18 - 25 or Thursday 20 - 27

This is possible, but i dont think that is that exact day!

As Wolf and some others said, the game its not ready, they will announce it when its good(2nd or 3rd week of March), if no delays come, then, release it maybe 1 month after!

It was just a fantasy.

IV was announced when the game wasn't ready, do you remember what happened? A delay... V was to be released in October/ November but the game wasn't ready so they needed a few extra months to polish it, that date ends in March, If it's done by then it will get announced a few days after (expect it around 2nd or 3rd week), if it's not it will be internally delayed again and you won't hear about it till it's complete. Once it's complete you'll get an announcement and this way Rockstar is sure there won't be any delays known to the public and everyone will be happy. Simple as that... and this is not speculation, but I won't insist about that anymore.

 

Man thats just lovely to hear but i think its time you gave us more than this, something solid for a change :monocle:

He's not a wizard. He knows just as much as we do.

Although I wish he was. He could use his magic to finally give us a PC version and make the console version non-existent :lol:

We need to recycle conversations because mods aren't allowing us to talk more diversely about PC gaming; until the point we won't be able to recycle convos any more, then it's a dead thread. Only R* can save us.

I don't know about the other forum leaders, but personally, I have no problem with you guys discussing about anything related to PC games and the like, since there isn't much to discuss on the subject at this point. Just don't turn this into a Watch Dogs discussion or something like that, keep it about videogames in general so that there is some variety in here. Edited by Andreas

Technically, it's still not 100%, and since no one ever tried to discuss about it (in V section), I assume most members know the reason behind it, any one?

I agree, but would it be worth it? I mean GTA V is just around the corner. So I wouldn't be too upset if they decided to not have server support for IV. Because once V comes to PC, I won't be playing IV multiplayer ever again.

R* is not going to keep alive IV online mode anymore, isn't that obvious?

 

GTA Online is a standalone mulitplayer game that replaces simple multiplayers modes. Well, for now it's a part of V, but soon it will grow on it's own, even after new GTA VI or whatever come out. That's why it's called GTA ONLINE, not GTA V Online.

 

To get you a better view, GTA Online is kinda something like World of Warcraft.

I severely doubt it. GFWL will die when it dies (people die when they are killed). Doesn't matter. I see no reason why Rockstar needs to "hold back" on anything because of GFWL.

Exactly. GfWL is irrelevant as the PC version (if it happens) will most likely utilise Rockstar Social Club just as MP3 does on PC.

Well, with this game, R* decided to take a more casual approach. And so, they made it like that.

 

See, casual gamers don't have enough time to complete everything and, in order for them to reach 100%, they just forced us to do half of the stuff we should've done in the first place.

 

Don't see how this is related to the PC version, but, since Andreas said we could talk about stuff like this, then I guess I might as well answer your question.

GFWL was terrible but RGSC ain't much better, It's still annoying that you have to log in after launching the game. It would be great if it used Steamworks as a primary DRM but then it woukd mess up all the crews, statistics and all that sh*t I don't care about.
