You know I have to ask. Why are the mods locking topics because some people troll (or whatever else) and don't just punish them? Why should people that are civilized and do nothing wrong be punished because some brake the rules? Enforce the rules by punishing does that are trolling (or whatever else) and not by punishing everybody. It makes NO sense to punish people that do nothing wrong.

I have been following these "PC topics" for some time buy just now decided to make an account and post. Anyway I am starting to be "scared" for the PC version. Its already to long since the console release and we got nothing, absolutely nothing about the game (and I don't mean unofficial stuff found here and there)...

 

There is no way I am going to buy this for a console since I don't have one and there is no way I am going to buy one... Guess if the worst does happen and the game is not release I am at least going to have Watch Dogs.

They will release for PC and why not?

 

If Watch Dogs is coming on PC then Rockstar won't miss the chance to let Ubisoft face a tough competitor for the same platform as well as pushing the sales further due to high demand.

I am also expecting a record breaking PC Copies sold over and above Console copies.

 

It's going to be interesting to see which game is being milked more on PC, WD or V, and who eventually wins?

Yeah, these build logs leaked long ass time ago, but well, that's how journalism works these days... Just lurk on enemy news site and when you see they post about something that you didn't just post the same thing but with changed wording. Ehh... :/

Don't thank the mod for creating the topic, anyone can create a topic and if the mods weren't so power hungry we could have continued discussing PC stuff in the real PC thread.

Commercially I really can't see why you wouldn't do both PC and next gen console versions. From my limited understanding, I believe the vast majority of the work is designing the city. V looks great on even the ageing PS3 and Xbox, but beefing up the textures further with better hardware should be a relatively light investment. They've got enough experience implementing on the PC with RAGE now with GTA IV, EFLC and MP3.

 

I always disagreed that IV was the disaster of a port that some people made out. Yes, it was buggy, but my guess was always there was pressure to release before Christmas 2008, and they simply needed more time on it. I ran pretty well from the 4th patch onwards.

after 4 month u guys realised we just waitin for an announcment no release just announcment..after announ still gotta wait . looking at what R* doing.. announc could come march not earlier + 3 other months wait for release.

I just don't get it why won't they announce it already ? I don't care how long it'll take till the release but at least some official news from them, pure ignorant bastards.

Seems logic to me, perfect time to brag about how much money they made in 2013 and to do an intro to what they're gonna make in 2014 by releasing PC and/or NG versions. Or we're just gonna hear about a new project and our hopes will be crushed again, like "Look how much money we made, so here's a new game, that you will never have a chance to play, oopsy, were so bad."

Anyways, what exactly makes you guys say the announcement will be on February the 6th? What fact do you have to back it up? Some random guy posts a cryptic clue and you automatically believe that, without even a solid fact to back it up? Take a look at the GTA IV PC thread, Rockstar's announcements usually come from nowhere.

A very early February announcement makes perfect sense for the right reasons. And those reasons don't involve cryptic submarine bullsh*t.

I see the old thread was removed. I don`t follow a lot to what`s been happening, but is there any reason I should get hyped for PC version right now? Or nothing much have been going on regarding the PC version...
