I don't expect an announcement in an award ceremony to be honest ... although I have faith that with so many PC enthusiasts there and with big names related to the PC platform, that someone is clever enough to say and tease about it to the creators in front of everyone. Something like "Ladies and gentleman and now the men of the hour Benzie and the Houser brothers the brilliant minds, behind the controversial, successful and worldwide known Grand Theft Auto V available now for XBOX360, PS3 and we hope soon for PC and NG consoles" ... while blinking an eye to them and expecting a big laugh or a big slip of the tongue.

 

I mean this is just an idea there are so many ways to create traps... I mean even the mention of it should take some reactions from them that can be translated in body language (they can't control these).

 

Or at least that some PC Nerds that usually attend to Comic Con create some plan to tie them to a chair and make them talk... or we can ask Peter to do it... he seems very persuasive.

We can be 99% sure that the game is coming so the announcement isn't that important. We'll probably get the game in the summer.

 

I just hope they don't release next gen versions before they release the PC version.

As someone who would really like the PC version now, I have to say, keep your expectations realistic people.

 

I can't see it coming before April. Why?

 

Take2 have blown their targets to bits this financial year already, which ends March 2014.

If I remember prior to release their bold prediction was "earnings in excess of $2 per share". Now they are forecasting $3.50-$3.75 which is a phenomenal increase.

 

If I was in charge I would shunt every possible future release into the next fiscal. That includes a PC version of V, a next gen console version, or and paid for DLC for the PS3 and Xbox, some of which I suspect might be ready to go now, but are being deliberately held back.

 

Sure they can release in the next fiscal year, but that doesn't mean they can't announce it now.

There is a post a couple pages back (too lazy sorry) that showed GTA 3 having the longest time span in between announcement and console release. If there is anything to go by I am going by that.

Because if something comes up such as an unexpected problem, or if R* decided, "I am going to work more on GTA Online and next gen that I might as well delay PC." There are more examples out there but I guess these sounds like the biggest risk.
