I think most people called GTA IV PC a bad port because they had the sour after taste of buying the game and couldn't run it on the first patch even with hardware specs exceeding expectation.

 

The game came off the shelf unplayable until it was patched. :(

 

There were some genuine problems involving SecuROM and textures not appearing when the game first started. But for those that didn't have those problems expected to be able to max it out. Especially the ones with specs exceeding the recommended. When they couldn't, they complained that it was unplayable. I had a dual core AMD and a 9800GT. I could barely play it on Medium settings. I was getting 10 fps. Good times though, considering that was 6 years ago.

 

Also GTA IV was a pretty bad port. But for me, nothing can beat Saints Row 2.

 

 

Yes it is bad port IMO. I had a quad core and couldn't play it even on lowest settings until I patched it. Then I can play it from medium settings to high settings pretty well.

Yeah me too. I logged in, and there is just a song file or something.

My girlfriend kidnapped me so I won't be able to listen to the conference. But I'll keep my eyes here when I can. Tho I expect nothing from this conference. Imo they could announce it tomorrow since it's tuesday. *fingers crossed*

The music playing right now is pretty relaxing. I feel like I don't care too much. Just... enjoy, and watch as Sam and Dan dance in front of Leslie Benzines, all grinning from ear to ear, looking directly at you. Is that the smile of joy or irony? They know, we don't. But we're going to find out [in 27 minutes].
