If they don't push it for the way I assume to be very likely, don't you think GTA 5 sales will hit badly on older consoles when people are planning to buy new consoles?

 

As such, R* is trying to give the fans GTA 5 early on consoles rather delaying for an year with PC.

 

Either Ps4 will be at par with PC version or it won't release on PS4/Xbox1 at all!..

Believe me, PC version will not have a bigger map.

 

Maps aren't small because of consoles, they're small because it's actual work. Consoles can run maps way bigger than GTAV, the map can be 100x bigger than Just Cause 2 and the consoles can still run it smooth.

 

Why? Because the system only loads what you need to see. A bigger map just means there are more places for the game to load. The only restriction is disk space, and even then you'd need to have a REALLY big map to run out of disk space, considering PS3 can fit 50GB onto a dual layered blu-ray.

 

Even 8GB, the amount of disk space a 360 has, can fit a very large map.

 

On top of this, R* would not have a bigger map for the PC version because it's not very profitable. The bulk of R*'s income is from console sales. Hence why PC versions are released later and not as eventful as the initial console release.

After noticing the threads regarding various questions about pre-orders and if a certain image was real or fake, I decided it would be a good idea to start this thread.

PC will probably always have an advantage over consoles, t's fairly obvious.

I doubt the buildings will show any significant damages. Current generation consoles won't be able to handle that much stress. Maybe some decals that disappear in about 5 seconds or so like in IV.

considering that GTA generates so much "controversy" in the mainstream press everytime one is released, and even thought V is not set in new york (as IV was), i think it's unlikely that rockstar would want much of anything to do with this...

Well, if you could buy them in Single Player, I can't see why they wouldn't be purchasable in multiplayer, depending on how the multiplayer is going to be. Maybe depending on the game modes or something.

Most likely it has to do with the "servers" so to say, and how it stores data, in order to purchase a house in MP you need that data stored to your account. And I don't know if R* made it like that or not, I may be wrong.
