GTA V Quick Questions

What I really want to know is if all the money, cars, purchases, challenges won, apartments that we have bought, etc will transfer over from server to server? I just don't know how they are planning for this to work.

Just to be sure if I have understood correctly:

 

Are we gonna be able to explore underwater in online mode?

Since we will be able to do this in single-player, no doubt we will also be able to do so in multiplayer as well.

Interview said water isn't a focus online, and will probably change as they add more content.

In the GTA:O trailer you can see a submarine coming up in the ocean. (the shot of the lighthouse)

And with all the planes and stuff going around I'm sure it's online footage (Actually I think everything you see in the trailer is shot in the online mode)

 

So, I'm sure you can explore underwater in online mode.

I really hope so.

 

 

Cause I was a bit confuse after reading this part of the interview:

 

In the single-player, you've mapped underwater as well - will there be underwater gameplay in GTA Online?

 

We're not really pushing the underwater side right now, but once we get the first batch of content out - which is going to be a lot; hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of missions - then we'll start looking at some other things. Underwater. Getting all the subs going. They're all there, it's all ready to go. And underwater's kind of cool. I think we're going to find that a lot of people like underwater, so I think it's an area that we might utilise in future.

 

 

I mean, ok. All the things are there and ready to go. The fact that they are not utilising this area only means that they did not include any missions nor possibility of edition. Right?

When will the hands-on previews drop by?

GTA IV reviews etc started coming in the same day as the release itself. Though, lately games have a tendency to release reviews a week or so ahead to create a bit more fuss about their game I personally, hope the reviews come out 17th of september.

I actually feel like there won't be any Hands-on previews for journalists before

release.

 

We are already past the halfway mark of August. The only time I could see it is maybe the first few days of

September. But that is still close to release and reviews would start coming out soon after so It wouldn't

make sense. (to me at least)

The hands on previews of GTA IV were released on February 28 - 2 months before the release.

 

The hands on previews of their latest game, Max Payne 3, had it's fair share of hands-on-previews starting from March to May 7.

 

I wonder what the case is with GTAV. There sure will be a hands-on-preview. But 'when' is really the question.

Yes, it will carry over from server to server, lobby to lobby. Trust me they won't make you spend a ton of

money on stuff and then lose it. R* knows what they are doing don't worry.

We've got a thing called Passive mode. If you're spawning and being killed immediately, go to Passive mode - it means you can't shoot people, but they can't shoot you. So you can just kind of hang around and get to grips with the game.

 

 

Couldn't the person who set up the heist just turn on the "cant touch this" buton and run away with all the cash every time????

It'd be cool like have a mission to like go into a recording studio like where you had to stral a record in madd doggs mansion in san andreas and hear people recording sh*t and hear bands play, or have concerts on the beach and restraunts that you can go to. or like go to like a house party and play mini games of beer pong and sh*t. sh*t like that would make the game!

It's possible as many new titles nowadays are released simultaneously on PSN and in stores on launch.

But there hasn't been any confirmation yet from Sony or R*.

I bet you my copy of V that every time you commit a violent action (robbing, shooting attacking, fighting ect.) there is a five minute cool down before you can turn on passive mode.

 

So if you rob a store and stiff your friends, you got to evade them for five minutes, without shooting, before you can turn on passive.

I think passive mode will be in the options menu. If it's just say you and 4-5 other people and you just want to do some races and maybe a couple of heists. You can all agree to turn on passive mode. So when your not doing an activity you don't have to worry about other people killing you.

The OP revealed it was fake. Mods were not online for awhile that's why It stayed up so long. Would have been taken down earlier.
