@ trevor685 - GTA 5 o-clock, those guys described it being like how it was, so I think it will be 'block like' and not smooth. I would prefer smooth, but the 'block like' works pretty nice. I'm going off what those guys said and what I saw in the game-play video but ofc R* might change it or indeed it was like that for 'demo' purposes.

 

My question(s) -

 

When we saw the character switch mechanism we got to see the characters stats. 'Mechanic' stat wasn't present so : do you think it has been removed or is it a case of it only shows up when needed (in Los Santos Customs / maybe if we brake down and/or car is knackered?)

 

In the GI customization article it says cars and bikes are customisable (good stuff), does anyone know if this includes other land vehicles such as quads, vans, trucks, lorries etc?

 

Lastly - When we see he car in Los Santos Customs we get to see the cars' stats - Top Speed, Acceleration, Traction and Braking... is there anything they have missed?

 

Lastly (I mean it this time) - We see Trevor on 5 stars... didn't look too harsh imo, thoughts?

 

I would ask about vehicle handling + physics but there are lots of other threads on this so I'll leave it...

 

Sorry for multiple questions but I would've forgotten them otherwise.

It will work as long as you have 8gb of free space on your harddrive for the mandatory installation file.

It's a possibility, yes. We wont know for certain though until the game's actually released.

Unlike iPhones, Xbox 360s don't get better hardware as they release new variants. They release models with the same power but less heat/more efficiency, but there's no hardware difference. As long as you have enough storage to install, you'll run it just fine.

There's about 1,000 car mods in total - spoilers, bulletproof wheels and smoke colors, tuning, different horn sounds etc.

As far as evidence goes, yes, they are. It also appears that you can change the color of them as well.

I have a few questions that may actually be able to be answered, because I only just started following GTA V so some of this info may have been released already.

 

1. How in depth is stealth going to be? I can see there will be suppressors available for weapons. Additionally you can apparently choose to do heists stealthily. Is anything else known at the moment? Can you do entire heists stealth or will you always at some point trigger the alarm? Can you do stealth melee takedowns? Can you be stealthy outside of heists?

 

2. Can you replay missions? This feature was in TBoGT and RDR, so I have reason to believe it'll be a here too. It's just that this is a vital feature in replayability for me so I'd really like to know for certain.

 

3. Supposedly the melee combat has been improved. Does anyone know how? Do we now have a dedicated melee button to melee people while we have a gun out, without having to switch to fists first? Perhaps just a weak rifle butt hit if you have a gun out, but stronger and faster punches if you put it away. Or maybe something like The Last of Us where it automatically switches to punching then back to guns for you. I love melee in games, but it always felt clumsy in GTA. I know that if you pressed the fire button while aiming at someone and standing next to them, you'd hit them with your gun but it didn't always work well and I'd much prefer a dedicated button.

1. I'm not sure if we've been briefed on this much yet other than the fact that it has been greatly improved since previous installments. I'm also not quite sure what they even exactly mean by this. We know that you can either chose to do a heist stealthy or go in "loud and dumb", so if they're talking strictly mission based or what is really beyond me. I'm sure there are cinematic stealth kills if that's what you're wondering as well. If somebody else has a better answer I'm actually a bit curious myself.

3. I don't think we know yet. Having a Sleeping Dogs level melee/hand combat system is unrealistic. We do know that each character will have their own animations when attacking an opponent but I think that's as far as it goes as of right now (in terms of known features).

Presumably all vehicles will be customizable with maybe the exception of "special" ones (tanks, submarines, the infamous blimp, etc).

It depends on what you mean by main theme. The song will be almost certainly featured in the final game, but if it's the main theme has yet to be confirmed.

Yeah, it was confirmed in one of the Q&A's that were published by Game Informer yesterday, that vehicle customization will be possible on all vehicles, including motorcycles. Look here:

By storage space they most likely refered to parking spots/garage as in previous titles. They haven't mentioned anything about a mobile storage space.

Because the GTA V gameplay video was released recently, the website has been swarmed with people, which led to it being overloaded. I suggest you let it cool down, and when it does, you can access it freely.
