Iam in a bit of dilema regarding the special edition which costs 79.99 € and the collectors edition of the game which costs 139.99 €.

The special edition has:

- Full retail copy of Grand Theft Auto V

- Collectible SteelBook with Exclusive Artwork - features custom color and metallic treatments to bring out the detail of the Michael, Trevor and Franklin artwork created exclusively for this SteelBook

- Blueprint Map - exclusive, 21.5" x 26.75" map displays a blueprint view of Los Santos and Blaine County

- Special Ability Boost - Michael, Franklin and Trevor each have a unique special ability. With this boost, the special ability bar will generate 25% faster

- Stunt Plane Trials - single-player Stunt Plane Trials let players take on additional aerial challenges spread throughout Los Santos and Blaine County

Is the deposit bag and cap plus some extra packaging worth the added 60 euro?

Are those unique vehicles exclusives to the collectors edition of the game ? Or will they be obtainable while playing through the game if you have standard or special edition of the game?

Nope, each character will have their own cash. It is still unknown if there is a way to lend/borrow money to/from other protags.

Rockstar said it will be improved from GTA IV, so that the cars feel less "big and boatlike" and "more like a racing game".

Well it really depends on what kinda' person you are. Personally I think the snapback and pouch are a nice touch to differentiate the two, but the DLC is enough to sell me. If you aren't into collectors items and such I'm sure the extra content will be eventually brought to PSN/XBL (as its happened in the past) or you could just as easily snag a code on ebay for the low.

 

For a timed period I'd imagine. Like I said above, I'm sure they'll be available within a few months or so to everybody. I don't think so, mate. It doesn't seem like much of a selling point to just give you early access to a few cars and guns for such a steep price.

 

In the end, I'd say just go with the Special Edition if you don't care enough to shell out a whole lot but still want the few extra bonuses and stuff of that nature.

No, do you remember that guy on Reddit that done the Q and A? He seen the one of the demo's that was in Russia (he had proof) and he said you could hold all the weapons in the game in the Weapon Wheel at once, similar to Red Dead Redemption. Unfortunately, they had to take the Q and A down, but I think there's a thread telling what all he said somewhere on here.

From what you know so far do you think GTA V is gonna continue on the GTA 4 path(realism) or maybe a bit closer to the gta 3 era/saints row?

 

The reason I'm asking this is because I've recently got saints row 2 and it sh*ts all over GTA 4, and this is coming from a GTA fan since vice city. There is just WAY more stuff to do in saints row 2, and most importantly fun stuff. I'm already 20 hours in and still at 22%.Free roam is fun,activities are fun and I won't talk about customization and property buying because it's already confirmed. I know many are gonna say gta 4 is not realistic and I know that,no game can be 100% realistic but you can't deny that it has taken several steps in that direction. Side activities were sh*tty, why would you watch TV in game ,go bowling , play pool,go drinking etc... when you can easily do these in real life? Stuff like playing games while playing a game are stupid,I know they are optional activities but apparently they completely replaced fun activities because there are none.

 

I'm not saying gta 5 should go full retard like saints row,but for f*ck's sake bring back the fun, isn't that why we play games in the first place?

Previews clearly said that the MAIN STORY includes about 6 big heists...

so it is completely bullsh*t

 

Wiki isn't reliable... everybody can make an account and change things there...

 

 

However there are also robbery-side missions in GTA V: the possibility of robbing liquor stores for example

I'm certain that this is part of a screenshot of IV. The vehicles look exactly the same, and the greyish graphics fit perfectly. It's definitely not from V.

We know that there will be only one major city, and that's Los Santos, which represents Los Angeles. San Diego will not be in the game. Besides, it's way too late for announcing another major city.
