you know if you do it with someone else in the cargobob, and drop the container right in the water (while 2 of you are in the cargobob), youll pass the mission faster?

I heard heists were paying out 50K

I read that it was $80k, but that the payout would be split between all members of the team, of which there would be four. Hence $20k.

That said, nobody knows until they actually release the heists, so it's all pure speculation for now, albeit based on supposed hints in the game code.

If its only 20K each then thats ridiculous.

the ornate bank heist apparently takes about 5 mins... 20k is fair. but there better be more to it than just this.

I'm far more excited for mission creator, and the possibility of owning businesses in the 'dangerous business pack'

damn rockstar teasers!

Well at least you will have time to do other stuff for fun when you're finished. Thats alot of coveted.. I get tired of doing missions even three times over if I don't enjoy the mission itself let alone the payout.

Lol but only after doing it 36 times you will get 400k... that sounds kinda nice. If you do it kudos to you because if I wasn't getting paid (IRL) to do this I'd probably hate my life 1st day in.

woohoo.. Reached 90... Bit of an ordeal to do three level UPS in one evening but I've finally got the heavy sniper.. All beginning to feel worthwhile... Getting a crew member to sort me an Asea also eased the tedium...

It doesn't matter how many people are in the cargo bob; there needs to be a minimum of two players in the first SUV when you cross the landing zone and activate the cargo bob in order for that exploit to work. It is ideal, and easily the fastest method since delivering it can add up to 30 seconds, but dealing with inconsistent players can make it a throw of the dice which can also subtract purpose. Having a friend online who's willing to grind this hard can be a tiresome pursuit as well.

Well, did my first morning using the heavy sniper... what a difference!

Shaving 30-60 seconds off each round and it definitely is a case of fire and forget..

One thing though.. Anyone able to tell me where the vulnerable spot is to shoot cars, i.e the fuel tank?

I can get the groups round the Sanchez's, but not the SUVs... I did get one SUV with two shots but didn't quite see through my bleary eyes as to where I had shot it..

If I can start blowing up the SUVs I reckon it can be done in about 3:30..

As for progress, big day yesterday, levelled up five levels and now sitting at 92..

I'm also now officially a tank'tard... Went and spent some of my earnings on a Rhino... only problem was, tanktard I'd bought it to hunt down logged off before I had a chance.. might've been something to do with my almost wasting him with one successful heavy sniper shot... coward..

On those Granger SUV's specifically, back left tire, picture the wheel well, the left side of the tire, just between the tire and the well you should actually be able to see a greyish area that is the gas tank. They are usually around that area, they can take a couple shots, and are hard to hit in this mission since you need to be on parallel ground most often to shoot between the tire and the well, otherwise it can be hard.

Once you are on the landing zone the far SUV's on the left side of the water ' as you see it from the hill' , present themselves nicely, but enemies on the landing zone barely require explosive intervention since their heads also present themselves nicely.

The other groups are nearby dirt bikes, except for a group to the far left of the container hiding in crates, these guys scatter when they are alerted, but stand rather close to an explosive barrel prior.

I think I'm going to have a little experiment in a private session with some SUVs and the rifle, see if I can familiarise myself with the sweet spot...

Like I say, the Sanchez shots are easily done and the barrel one's been there from day one n'all..

Just been looking at my stats and if I cram in a couple of double sessions at the weekend, I should be able to coast to 120 by my deadline, doing 18 missions a day... lot less mental than the 30 it was at one point.. :panic:

yepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyepyep

:colgate:

I did this 5 times earlier; I use it to change sessions so I don't time out.

Barely put a dent in rank 200.........

Lol.. that's why I'm plateauing at the 120 odd mark..

The wife's already getting a bit pissed off at it. specially since I insisted I finish a two hour marathon last night... >.<

Doing 18 a day means two sessions of 45 minutes or so, so that can be done when she's not around..

after all this, I'm keeping Coveted as an income source and nothing more (unless I can find something more lucrative to grind...)... Figure half a million a week on it wouldn't be that painful... :sui:

My wife left me because of Coveted, and my dog died.

What did I take away from all of this?

For the love of all that is holy, remember to feed your dog I can't stress that enough.

Never did grind this mission but yesterdays new DLC announcement cought me a little short of cash and I want to be a millionaire again by Friday. So I farmed Coveted 30 times, 3 groups of 10. Easily averaging 3 - 4 mins from Restart to Restart ( dont pay attention to 2 min claims they're not counting lobby screens) 7 heavy sniper rounds and 1 shot gun blast.

It does get extremely boring, even mixing in a few CCIII with my buzzard and a few quick missions its still a grind. Cant imagine doing it every day. Good Luck.

Thanks..

Tbh, it's not been as catastrophically dull as I thought it would have been, and breaking it up into 2-3 sessions a day definitely helps..

I think if I get past a few double days on Friday and Saturday, then the rest of it is going to be a cinch...

and my motiviation's still quite high.. there's the RPG and minigun to look forward to, and enough breadz for a shiny black metallic Entity XF with limo windows.. :D

Does your cat knock the controller out of your hand at critical moments too? They're great aren't they. I love mine

Lol.. not quite... he just glares at me for giving GTA attention and not him...

Then he'll either come and purr right in my face, or start biting me..

Either way, he wins..

Back on topic a little, are there any unlocks between levels 100 and 120? That's going to be the big grind. Are you really that bothered about the minigun?

I've adopted a similar challenge to rank from my current level (105) to 120 by 26th of February. My method is to start a solo race and let it clock over the 4 minute mark before going past the finish line. Easy 3k RP per race (money isn't an issue; still have 9 Adders stored in my 2nd character). It's my aim to level up once or twice a day... and after seeing this thread, beating you to Level 120. :p

Good luck with the next 13 days...

Yeah, I think it is something I want to get, as after that there's nothing left, if you get me?

And I know it's a grind, one of my crew got to it recently and he was despairing for the last few levels...

Plus it looks impressive and slightly rude when you paint it pink....

And expensive, I'd have thought? I just want to get to level 100 to get the 100% auto armour and RPG. After that I'll be quite happy to level up as and when. I actually got a minigun in a crate drop, but immediately lost it due to overly aggressive NPCs guarding the crate, plus my ineptitude at using the minigun quickly enough not to die.

I think I'd therefore only use the minigun to destroy vehicles and things, as I find it easier to properly aim a normal gun at somebody to kill them.

Minigun is only useful when i have someone tailing me and i duck off around a corner or defeding a rooftop from a helicopter. Other than that, it never comes out.

I just snipe everyone at the grangers and snipe the bikes before going down. Only takes about a minute and is faster than aiming for gas tanks on the suv's. If i get too ancy, i just crash into the 2nd granger killing the last guys. Then while i wait for the chopper, i'll shoot 2 rpgs at the grangers across the water.

Ive been following your thread for some time now as I am also doing a bit of Coveted but I need money as I want to get myself a Buzzard. Anyhow I do the update today and guess what? Seems like a spanner has been put in the works as you cannot replay the mission anymore by pressing X! Great, Im never going to get that damn helicopter now I still need 900k!

Sorry for the bad news but may have to find a new way of farming $, RP...
