Seems to be working seeing as you've gone up 24 levels in 6 days.

Do the trick where you drop the container into the water (search youtube for this) and you'll cut off having to fly it to Martin's sh*thole lockup at the end. Doesn't cut much off, but it's worth it.

Ok, so who wants a bet?

 

Currently at level 58 which is a bit embarassing especially given that I've been active in the game since the launch.. albeit with a bit of a gap when it was all screwed up (no, I know it's still screwed up but I mean I couldn't access properly..)

 

So.. I'm fed up with my weapon choice being lame and something needs to be done about it..

 

To that end, I hearby declare that I will now be attempting to farm Coveted virtually all the time I'm on GTA online for the next 21 days..

 

I've worked it out, if I can play the mission 36 times a day for 21 days, I'll reach level 120 and also be about 9.1M better off.

 

So, any tips for this??

 

I need to get the time down as much as possible and it'll be on single player and hard..

Iv done coveted so many times I can beat it alone in about six-seven minutes you need to snipe about 12 people where the chopper lands ignore the other people they never shoot down the chopper and its all cake from there I would do other missions but nobody ever joins

It should take you half that time...even if doing it solo.

Got to remember, it's about 2950 or so if you clear all the enemies in each level, 25% bonus for free aim and 1.5xRP on hard...

 

30 of those a day = 88500RP, six days of that = more than 500K RP...

 

The maths all adds up....

Well doing 30 a day nets $360K, so a million every 3 days or thereabouts... If it all goes to play I'm looking at about 6.5M+ when I hit lvl 120... plenty enough for a tank and a few Pisswassers to celebrate.. might try to break my 30 in a row for drinking beers,,

Havent been following but if I were you I would invest in a buzzard as soon as you can and do the mission crystal clearout 3.I did this and joined only high rp/cash missions if they were available. If you continue you will make all your money back and in the end have more rp and probably the same if not more money. This is just my opinion and based on my own experiance. I jumped about 80 ranks in 21 days.

Man I am so going to start this but I would do it for 10 days only for like 4 or 5 hours a day. Lets see what I can earn then. Would be glad if someone would join me. Im on Xbox btw.

Lol.. no I totally schedule it for when she's not in or awake.. so I'm normally playing it feeling like a zombie from 6.30 - 7.30am, then I can normally get a couple of hours before she gets in from work, then sometimes 30mins-1hr later in the evening..

 

Works around quite well, but I have assured her it's only for another fortnight now..

Seriously.

It does get a bit of a drag by about the 8th mission in a row, but by then it's usually one more then a level up.. then a break to go buy the new clothes/weapon mod/whatever..

 

Breaking up the 30 odd a day over 2-3 sessions definitely helps though..

 

Also playing games within the mission helps.. such as "which weapon shall I use to take the pilot out this time" - this morning's choice being the golf club... or "Killing only by kneecapping first".... a little variety in the technique definitely breaks up the tedium..

This is true..

 

but.. 1) some people are f*cktards and can just steam in, leading to merry hell as the enemies all become active and start shooting/going behind cover..

 

and 2) Multiplayer screws up the draw distance, so it's virtually impossible/fecking hard to snipe all but one of the enemies from a single spot.. which you can do in SP...

 

So in short, SP can be faster (container dropping glitch aside)..

I don't understand how you can do this as I have grown to hate Coverted (it was nothing special to start with). It's pretty much the only mission you get now when you join a random mission (much like Boneyard with Survivals).

 

The only good thing about Coverted is how easily you can troll others in it if they are a bunch of pricks. Heavy sniper + cargobob = mass confusion about what happened.

Nah... I've figured the best way of doing it is to do 10 in a row.. then have a break..

 

Also the fact I'm splitting it over three sessions in a day makes it far less tedious..

 

Though saying that, at the weekend I spent virtually the whole day on GTAO, and out of 10 hours I'd had about 8 of them on Coveted... My JP score was four figures at one point..

 

And as ugotsmoked says, money and RP are a huge incentive/motivator...

I'm on PS3 and currently doing a bit of Coveted farming. Will be on this evening if you fancy teaming up to reduce the time it takes? I'm not particularly quick, but with a couple of us it should be decently quick. At the moment it's taking me around 6 minutes. I've still not mastered getting every head shot first time, especially at night or in foggy weather, and have admittedly died a few times from glitches/bad luck/stupidity.

 

(Why do you always respawn right in the middle of the hill with everyone already shooting you?!)

 

Oh, and Doktor_Gott, my favourite weapon for killing the cargobob pilot is my pink sawn-off shotgun. Heh.
