The 21 day Coveted challenge...

Can RR be soloed or do you need more than 1? Whats the payout like and how long does it take? Suppose i should just check it out really!

Paid 18750 and takes me 4-5 min...easily done solo even on hard.

Just tried to time completing Coveted on hard, leave voting lobby and launch job again was upto about 6 mins then lost connection after voting lobby, labourious pain in the ass

Xbox here, going to have to find a decent way to farm, just realised cant do RR only lvl 70!

OK just got a timed session done from start of mission to start of mission without losing connection in between lobbies (rare for me) 9.5mins, so 18k x 6 per hour = 108k per hour for me, so roughly 9 hours to go!

IMO you should put survivals in there...I am rank 135 with 2 mil and I still enjoy them...

Well if you still want to do it when you can't simply restart, you now get $18k from Coveted on hard. I even had Coveted appear in a vote screen with a friend so we played it a second time without having to go out and back in.

Speaking of going out and back in, I feel like this patch added "dead time" between loading screens..when I was on earlier staring at clouds I found myself contemplating what exactly it could be loading....when prior to this patch these very same missions took only seconds to load...they now take minutes usually.

I do enjoy the odd survival but it just takes so long to complete for 20k payout and right now im just grinding for that buzzard, after that then back to all missions/jobs, general faffing about

I do it just for the variety...but I own everything so we are not all in the same boat...I just farm money for the future...I will play this game till GTA 6 comes out.

So farming has been blocked? WTF? So basically they're just blatantly trying to force people into buying online credits.

 

I wouldn't mind if everyone had an equal chance in this game, as expensive things need to take longer to attain otherwise they hold no value. However, there are loads of people who got gifted huge sums of money, so Adders and Entities are the most common cars around, yet because I've not cheated or been given money it'll now take me forever to afford one because they're blocking farming. Gah.

They are not blocking farming...making money just got easier...do RR and you could easily make $200K an hour...

Oh right. Didn't somebody just say that you can't replay Coveted anymore? Also, why has it now got easier? What's the payout etc for RR? Is that the mission where you have to collect the briefcase from the people on top of the building that's under construction?

No its always been $18750 and around 4K rp...its the quickest for me to do also.

Right, so what's the strategy for this?

 

I went steaming in yesterday and got my ass handed to me, so I'm still farming Coveted simply because of the fact I've done nigh on 300 missions of it in the past week and a half, so it's almost robotic to me now..

 

oh and lvl 101 now and 102 by the end of the day.. should definitely be on course for my target of 120 in 3 weeks..

 

and the increased payouts are useful.. forgot that it costs like $100K+ to mod a car properly...

Alas am in work and tbh, it's faster on single player as there's no draw distance glitch for sniping..

 

I've had problems where a clueless lower level went steaming on ahead, making the enemies active and leaving me to try and pick them off when half or more of them were invisible..

 

All in I've got it down to about five minutes a game, including loading times now.. such is the power of the heavy sniper!

Ah.. there's the problem.. I've been using free aim in missions to get the 25% RP bonus.. which obv in coveted (and CCO3) doesn't change the game play one bit.. specially if you save ammo and golf club the pilot...

 

Had a crazy screw up on one of my missions yesterday though... Pilot went to get out, I missed with the golf club, he dived backed in helicopter and took off, then circled overhead screaming the whole time..

 

Had to heavy sniper the Cargobo out of the sky just so I could fail the mission!!

I usually don't aim anyway, just wave the shotty in the direction of the car from behind the wall otherwise the dude will drive off.

Well that's nearly two weeks up and it's getting closer to 120..

 

Up at lvl105 now..

 

New developments include using a nothing-but-Coveted playlist and learning that a tank can be left in the session if using a playlist..

 

15 levels to go in eight days.. should be a breeze!

 

And sanity levels seem undamaged... though my leg is a hat!

Day 16 and fatigue is setting in..

 

So much so I only managed one level up yesterday...

 

Not that the mission is in jeopardy... three levels over the next two days will take me to 115... Then on Saturday, day off and time for a massive push to reach 120..

 

As for the results.. not bad still.. money has been blown on car upgrades, an Entity XF and a tank, all of which felt good to buy with earnt money rather than received glitch money.

 

All I will say is, thank hell there's nothing to aim for post lvl 120.. I'm done with such intense grinding for a while!
