1. Shaftonetwoone is a TROLL. His avatar is of Milkman Dan, a troll character from the comic strip Red Meat - the character's modus operandi is that he tells lies to little girls to play tricks on them, and he enjoys the negative attention he gets as a result. Shaft keeps changing his tune depending on prevailing themes in the community and relies on a turnover of gunters so he can retain credibility. XMarqs, why are you even considering he might be right? From your previous posts it seems clear that you are "in the know", and Shaft has never displayed anything to suggest what he has is more than supposition because he might have done some QA for R* once. If he does know anything at all, he will be under NDA, and is risking both his job and legal action. If he is that stupid, then it should not take too much investigating to dox the c*nt. People need to learn that misleading people online is f*cking scummy, bottom-feeding behaviour. On this subject, XMarqs posting the same old troll video from youtube is also scummy behaviour. Why do you want to encourage this sh*t?

 

2. There are eight monkeys in the alley abduction scene, not five. FFS people, this can be checked in about ten seconds on youtube, rather than people repeating the same misinformation time and again, both here and on reddit.

 

3. A jetpack may well be DLC - but of the free kind that is unlocked when the player meets the correct conditions. As has been pointed out, online access is required to enjoy all game features, and nobody can say that they were misled by R* on this issue. It is on the game's loading screens. It only takes a tiny file to allow existing assets to be repurposed.

@Everyone. why are you all so gutted at the prospect of DLC? we all should have expected it as a possibility from the start. Rockstars silence regarding everything could just be their way of saying be patient and you will receive.

 

Did no one here follow the BLOPS Zombies easter eggs? i mean i know it was a different company but they set the stage for huge in depth easter eggs which to some extent could not be completed without a download(DLC/Updates) and even some of the eater eggs could only be completed online or with a set number of players in one game.

 

Rockstar did deliver us an epic game which for me was worth every penny i spent. Anything extra is a bonus and not something they have to provide.

@scooby... i never said i was or we should go anywhere near brians blog or ideas lol just think the metaphors in the game need to be looked at, at some point... they shouldnt be taboo anymore or shrouded in trolliness lol i fully agree brian has taken things too far and insulted a lot of people... i just didnt think ungreth should be so bold in his diagnosis of insanity even if he does come across that way... we dont want to turn out to be bitter angry people like some new users whos theories got knocked back and they returned as trolls... this will just encourage more bad blood and trolls.

 

Anyway while on the subject of trolls... i was not signed up to the site in the height of brian and shaft season but i was reading... ever since the original jetpack hunt i have followed and eventually got involved so i have sewn everything (although it feels like a life time ago now lol)

 

Anyway in my time i have seen shaft come and go and his hints and answers to us have been all over the place... in my honest opinion even if he does work for R* he cannot be trusted... maybe he is a R* troll lol here to hold us up and encourage DLC sales lol

 

Anyway lets move on and leave the trolls behind, we were doing well just ignoring them and they were leaving us alone... now we seems so desperate we are entertaining shaft lol

@shoky... A game update is needed for online play and game fixes where as a DLC is optional (like the blimp)... although some DLC like the beach bum update DLC was needed since it was an addition to online.

Page 100 Theory:

 

Starting from the bottom of the mural.

The UFO and the two X's on that side of the mural are the Sandy Shores camp. The X's are the Rain/Moon glyphs since they are both found there.

The Jetpack and the three X's on that side of the mural are Ft. Zancudo. These last three glyphs represent the light from the UFO found there. 1am is the half eye glyph, 2am is the full eye glyph and then 3am is the beam glyph when the light is in full.

So we have a connection between these and the Chiliad UFO, and that is the rain/moon glyphs from the hippie camp (conditions) and when the light at FZ is in full at 3am (time).

What we need is to solve the connection where these two places meet in the middle; represented by the line on the mural connecting the egg and the Chiliad UFO.

"Segregate and Rearrange" is telling us the X's aren't representing the actual locations of the glyphs on Chiliad, but rather where they fit correctly into the puzzle.

The line at the bottom of the mural is telling us that there is indeed a connection between the UFO and the Jetpack/those two locations.

Once again however, there's a dead end to this. We're just left with what we already have (how to make the Chiliad UFO appear).

It could be that we have to work our way up the mural instead of down. We might already have the pieces we need but we're just not doing something right "before" we go to Chiliad. Along the way we would need to make it storm so that has to be taken into account as well.

Can't find where he said it but he mentioned 3 boxes south of mount chilliad on the south side of the lake, i looked and yes there are 3 squared out properties 2 with a little water in them, i was able to get all 3 characters to stand there, one in each box, nothing happened but maybe something else is needed.....

I guarantee they do have agreements not to talk about certain aspects if their work. I know that if I spoke to a magazine or even dealerships about future product and they were able to trace it back to me that I would be out of a job and essentially unable to work in my field again.

Sorry about my outburst OP & real hunters. I was getting pretty tired & just had enough of these trolling posts at the time. I have never bagged or knocked anyone elses theories if they at least had something to back it up with. Just taking random guesses off the top of your head helps nothing in reality & i dont think any so far has helped what so ever?

As for shaft, after some sleep & thinking about what they have said earlier & also previously im very skeptical on this latest info being true. So i would suggest as others before have posted, we continue along the same path before his arrival. The hippe/ufo site explanations looked really promising that i had been reading. I didnt feel the need to add anything as i had nothing to offer that these posters hadnt already found. Something some of the new hunters need to think about also if you want to actually help.

I've worked with real classified stuff many times, so I just didn't talk about it and for sure did not post in web forums about it.

But I can tell to who I damn like who is my employer. I guess at R* would be the same, at most.

To everyone who thinks Shaftonetwoone works for rockstar go and read the Forum under san Andreas easter eggs (I think its in cheats and tricks) it was started by a guy called Shaft121 who then got banned for some reason. Why would you start a thread looking for easter eggs if you had that information. Or are we meant to believe that he didn't work for rockstar then but does now? And what did the old Shaft121 get banned for I wonder?

I have also mentioned the line is significant & links them. My own theory didnt have that ufo as being FZ one so i had alot of trouble trying to find a definite link. The link to the fz ufo is more likely given that the military would have this technology.
