maybe franklin sacrifices Michael , I read awhile back that the only way to truly complete gtav is to kill Michael and franklin is the one with the space docker afterall, so maybe do away with Michael for the aliens who are trying to kill him in his dreams then somehow trade with the aliens the space docker for the jetpack, yes this is very far-fetched but I just want to think out loud for a change. the space docker is a one off vehicle in gtav for us all which disappears if you don't take care of it, so it is a unique vehicle with a purpose I think.

Remember M's fear of rejection. He want's to be free, but is scared to be judged for who he is.

 

Trevor is the exact opposite, he want's structure, a "Mommy and Daddy" to keep him in control, all the while he feeds his impulses of immediate satisfaction and pleasure.

UFO's are real, they are technologically possible. Left side.

Jetpack's are not technically possible(in the way we vision them), they are a dream. Right side.

 

M is a "realist" who want's to be a dreamer, to set himself free.

T is a free dreamer and thinker, he want's less control of his life and more structure. A dreamer who wishes he took the other pill(Matrix reference)

 

Fear.

M is afraid of how others judge him, so he holds his uniqueness in.

T is afraid of being alone, so he seeks out companionship, even in people who are obviously missing some emotion themselves.

 

 

Where does F fit in to all of this? He is the third wheel(or eye). He get's to use the information from T and F to make decisions about himself.

 

Left, Right, Middle. But as of yet, still 3rd Eye Blind.

 

EDIT: "Your path is lit". when i was a young fella we used to call getting high, getting "Lit". Just some food for thought.

No, it's just food for thought. GTAV is a tool, for learning and living, without the problem of having to face the consequences of choices in reality. Practice life's choices and then apply the lessons learned to your life outside. Watch the Movie play out, changing the script ever so slightly to get different outcomes. I guess you could call it a Game... a... Video Game.

 

The Jetpack doesn't exist, unfortunately. It never did.

 

The UFO's are not flyable.

 

You can't "Take Control" of the base.

 

There is no next step to the $500,000 docks.

 

It's all about the Mystery and it's all symbolic to each other.

 

Kraffrom know's more than i do by far, but he's got a language barrier. If he permits then i shall explain in his words, translated best as i can do.

 

EDIT: Nobody even picked up on the real mystery, myself included(until someone clued me in to it) The distraction devices worked as planned.

 

Somebody is missing. Think about the timeline of GTA.

ok I kinda get the whole some look left, some look right thing now, i think! are rockstar saying we are wasting our time chasing what isn't possible in the game, which can cross over into real life? what confuses me though is why they would go to the bother of creating u.v maps and whatnot just for them to be absolutely worthless and un-usable? also what are you still doing here if you know this to be true xmarqs? or wait a minute is that what is being used as 1 of several distraction methods? please answer for my sanitys sake

The mystery is the gameworld and how it relates to you, me and everyone you know, even people that have never played GTA. The moon in game travelling backwards is the biggest glitch. Our moon being exactly the right size to cover the sun during an eclipse is one of our glitches.

Literally nobody mentions it, it is crazy. Massive clue as to something not being right in the gameworld but nobody sees it.

The moon in my game rises in the west. The moon in the "real" world rises in the east.

@cyan - I´ve just been tracing the Moon and for what I've seen we were both right or both wrong

 

I've spotted it 1st time about 18h game time somewhere around SW maybe WSW, but not that low that one could say it raised atm. Traced it in a full game night, wich was not so easy due to clouds, but I was on a plane so could get some reflection on top of it that when centered showed me it's direction.

So it traveled to S, then E, was NE about 5am and last spotted almost N at 6am when the Sun showed up and I couldn't see it anymore.

The height from the horizon seemed to be pretty much the same at all times, so my guess is that the Moon doesn't set or rise ig it's just doing 360, visible at night and hidden by day, moving from W to E early in the evening and later from E to W.

you are in the good way to understand, the missing eye is the one of the player who didn't see that he's the subject of all this

mans have always think by 4 (cardinals, elements ect...) the simple fact of presenting to him a triangle, can disrupt him

now you have to connect everything to see that every easter eggs are connected

Michael means the UFO because he is the one that is more affiliated with those kinds of movies.

Franklin is the Alien Egg because he is young.

Sorry bout that :-) I know you have said you read the French forum, so that's where that came from. Same sort of thing as here? Chaos and dis-order?

 

People we are all working towards the same goal, our opinions ARE our own and other people MAY NOT agree. That's fine, that's human nature if we all agreed on everything it would be a boaring world to live in, people would all be the same it would be sh*t! Logical and mature debates and conversation is the only thing that's going to solve this or help us come to conclusions as there may be nothing to solve, or there could be LOTS.

 

I get that people are getting sick of the wait and are getting impatient that we have no idea what we are working towards or how to get there but personal attacks on people are pointless. IF YOU DONT AGREE DONT COMMENT unless is constructive criticism IE its something you have tired, give your two cents but understand that human curiosity is going to cause most people to try things even if you say it did nothing, and to be honest that's what we need.

 

Maybe they had different conditions to you, weather, time, car you were in, anything could matter, we have seen complex conditions required for some things so who knows. This could be complex, it could be simple we don't know so let people try what they like, for sure if you feel you have some info to help then share, but if not then there is no need to knock down anyone's idea even if they are wildly stupid or out there.

At the French Thread it's pretty much the same... It's solved, unsolved, will only be solved on NG, the mystery was never there and so on.

We're all humans after all, so (almost) the same thinking everywhere we go

There, the temp lock and temp bans were often used and by doing so it allowed it to reach the 1019 page (no V2, 3, 4, ...).

 

Though I don't agree with the permanent lock (imho some warnings/temp bans could had solved it), we should take this "punishment" as a lesson learnt and don't allow ourselves to derail it again to the "dark side". After all the trolls that dropped by, we did it to ourselves, so funny/sad...

 

If the OG won't do it, imo the NG will surely bring a lot of new things to "waste" our time on it.

Untill then, we should stick with what we've got and deal with it the best we can (I'm feeling very metaphorical while posting here lol).

You know what though MTBB, it doesn't help when some person claims to have more knowledge than most people here. We don't and never will need that, I'm sure even you would agree. People like that are basically saying "listen to me because I'm right about everything and you're not". Opinions will always be opinions and everyone has a right to have one,and as you said people may not agree. That's fine. However, trying to tower over everyone saying you are the king of the playground that's pathetic and you're starving for attention in that sense. When in fact, you're just like everyone else. As I said last night, "you know things I don't and I know things you don't". Does it mean one of us knows more than the other? Not in the slightest. Then that person goes on to say he knows what people know from the posts they make here....really dude? We don't need that kind of thing around these here parts. No need to respond to this because as you probably know, I care not if you're for me or against me really. Just let me say sorry and let me move with forward progress in the mystery as the priority.

 

I'm looking forward to testing some of the items listed that have been discussed in the last week or so but especially, for me, the tractor at the Hippy Camp is of interest. I will try to report any significant results or oddities and under what conditions these, if any, occurred. Let's get crackin!

The tractor really interests me to, I have no idea why but its a challenge to get it there and I guess that's what I like. That's why im loving the mural/mystery what ever we call it. Brings so much replay value to the game. The theory's are crazy sometimes but these are the fun bit that keep me going.... Use a forklift to put a cow in a truck then take it to chiliad then honk the spacer docker at it lol!

 

Great times to be had trying all this even though we know it wont do a dam thing, and no I haven't done that but that's my point, there's a thread dedicated to fun things to do once you have finished the game and to be honest I think some of the stuff we come up with here is more fun than some ideas there. Not everyone's cup of tea I understand that and some of it is time consuming/sh*t boaring.

 

Imagine that feeling IF and that's a big IF we/you/I were the first to find a jetpack/flew a ufo/found some aliens whatever, not for fame but just simple satisfaction of all the time paying off and being able to say to the doubters "I told you so" Hey sure that might spin in our faces and there may be nothing but isn't everyone having fun trying these theories, brainstorming with other like minded people that are as interested in a game as much as you, isn't it making the $$ you paid for the game all that much more worth it?

Maybe "smoke on the water" - deep purple is a clue. With all this huffing gas talk it could be telling us something. We clearly need to be high to see things that aren't there. The weed dispensary just so happens to be on the beach where we get a clear view of the sun(or fire in the sky?). The repeated lyrics in the song say "smoke on the water,fire in the sky" Could just mean light up and smoke, but maybe not. Then again...I'm always coming up with some farfetched stuff lol.

I had a random thought going through the photos when I saw the big green SD headlights. It would be sweet if the spaceship parts on the UV map trigger something. Like ONLY those specific parts. So instead of getting a SD you get let's say a Jetpack with less parts,but at the same time specific parts. So if you collect any random ones it won't trigger, as the game would then think you're after the SD.

I've always felt the CAB graffiti that is in the gallery somewhere held some kind of special map that needed to be figured out...I still go back and look once in a while and then throw my hands up....but it is the only high res. version I have seen of this style and in only one location....strange...it looks like a map.

 

Edit... I did search google for images quite a while ago and noticed that the actual real graffiti is very, very similar...but we know that R* likes to put a little extra elements into some of the replication present in the game, so it's not inconceivable that there could be something I am missing in regards to the graffiti that I haven't rooted out or connected yet to something else that could paint the picture a bit clearer...if there is anything further to read into it.

Hey has anyone tried to collect all the missing letters/blacked out letters off signs in the game and tried to spell anything? like "find your elf on the mountains", S would be one.

Yeah, there are so many it's nearly impossible..unless there is a color coding system or one of a few other combinations ...but yes it has been pretty thoroughly discussed on Reddit. I can't speak for here though. I was really into it the first few months of release and became frustrated with the overwhelming possibility of variables and combinations. The same goes for underlined words and similar items. I have tried just lit up signs with the letters missing or not lit up ...just a bunch of stuff and got nowhere.
