Also, what if the alumnus football quote is taking about the searching community? R* adds code bit by bit, not when some douche starts self righteoussly preaching but when we all work together. Maybe R* hasn't decided how we'll get the jetpack, but when we all agree on a solution they'll MAKE US RIGHT. That, or they're telling us that the answer's there and as the poem says we need it 'tire out failure' by persisting till the end. If Trials can send people all over the world in real life to solve an EE, R* can do ANYTHING.

I'm sorry to see TSF go, i really enjoyed reading his ideas and theories, and i was really getting interested in the Dam theory. (Was this his? I cant remember anymore, i've read so much posting in the past few days). Half hoping to fire up my game to see if i could actually post anything worthwhile.

I'm glad the pc version isn't. Would people have taken this much time to try and analyse and search for clues in something they can take apart thoroughly? This thread would have died around pg.100 and there wouldn't be anything new for anyone to try out/report, whist surely that's half the reason people are still here, because there could potentially be something new/something just added in, that adds a fresh prospect to this.

I just came across some weird but possible idea:

Lots of people have checked the game files to leak some new stuff. Have ALL files been checked wether their names fit to what they do in the game? The last game I've been modding was Star Wars Battlefront 1 on PC so I am sure lots of things have changed... I'm kinda useless here for now

 

But let's say there's a file for the Adder. It has the code for its speed, its acceleration, the files for the model etc.

 

What if Rockstar named the files for the jetpack differently on purpose? Of course we would have to assume that the jetpack DOES exist, according to the mural.

 

The mural shows us 3 pictures: UFO, egg and probably jetpack.

 

There have been several UFO sightings in the game but only one egg, is that correct? So there must be some more hidden stuff.

 

And if all these "events"/easter eggs/things could have been spotted from the first version of the game, then the jetpack or let's just say the remaining hidden stuff has to be in the game we have. Thus there have to be some files related to this.

 

 

 

What I'm trying to say is that Rockstar maybe "hid" some files by giving them completely unobtrusive names to prevent us from revealing the secret in a poor way.

Guys, I believe this has already been done some months ago. All of the files have been looked at in some detail. There doesn't appear to be anything else to find unless it comes with a future DLC release.

Now I'm confused I found two sets of different glyphs and the odd one is from IGN

why is that last one on the right diferent from...

I know we go by the second glyph but where the hell did they come up with that glyph?

Yeah that is odd. I'd be interested in knowing the source of the alternate image. It's possible they made it themselves, but the rest don't seem traced/stylized so I don't know.

 

It's probably nothing though I suppose, but still very odd.

Still unanswered why there are 2 glyphs named for rain and 2 glyphs named for moon. The first versions of moon and rain clearly look like a moon and rain clouds, but the second glyphs don't visually represent rain or night in any obvious way. In fact they seem completely redundant as "clues". Why do they even exist, especially when they are so hard to spot? Why hide them so well when they appear to be useless?

Thank you Slate, I thought it was abit random, thought It might've been on an LED board somewhere in game.

I just assumed it was the missing "broken off" piece of the symbol below it.

Different people probably made the image. Both are made to represent the half glyps. Some people say there is a quarter of a circle line below the half glyph and is part of the glyph which is probably why he drew it like that.

 

@ Ungreth. this is a great question and one of the reasons im still around. To me they are red herrings but I would love us to find an actual meaning.

I know this has been probably discussed but what if we have to segregate and rearange the glyphs for their respective outcome, we already know the ufo one so it's just a matter of rulling the other stuff out maybe?

edit: the point is it repeats because you need the same occurance for both ocasions(?)
