Hey I'm new here, i'm in a hurry so please apologize for not knowing who i am (yet ).

I'm pretty new to GTA 5 but i think i figured out another detail of the mnt chiliad mysterie. here goes:

 

i think, the egg in the map is the easteregg ufo located at the north coast under water.

 

so maybe the "flyable ufo" and the "jetpack" aren't necessairly in or under the mountain, but somewhere in the ocean? i still cant figure out what the connecting lines would mean.. but maybe there's somewhere a tunnel in the ocean?

 

maybe it starts somewhere on land and goes underwater?

please dont be angry if someone posted this before, i couldnt read all 406 pages of this thread

Sorry but you say you're in a hurry but you're here, posting. You imply that you can't or don't have the ability to read or search the forum before asking questions or speculating on a theory, which is your choice. You then indicate that you expect negative responses or anger at your choice not to read anything first and in your next post feign oblivion at the reason behind a less than warm welcome......ok.

 

All of what you said has been discussed before. Here, other places, I don't know what you expect the dialogue to be after you voluntarily step off the edge into the pit.

What about the FZ UFO X? Any eye to correlate it to ?

 

The reason I ask is because this DOES make sense apart from the FZ UFO.

It seems to me we can make some kind of sence out everything in the mural but the jetpack figure. If it were not for this I would have called this solved months ago.

 

Just too add to this we have found everything shown on the mural except the jetpack figure.

We have found the glyphs which are supposedly represented by the Xs. We have found eyes. We have found a few UFOs and we have found although not an actual egg, plenty of easter eggs. Yet the only thing ingame we found relating anything at all to a jetpack is a sticker in Lesters house which leads to nowhere.

 

We are really just missing the big picture or R* makes a hell of a game yet sucks ass at putting together a good puzzle.

...or maybe not.....sorry this isn't a great example, but I didn't want to force anything by using an out of the game image. While not metaphorical, it did cause me to take notice and do a double take when I saw it.

 

Looking online at images of hearts, there are some renditions that are a bit more accurate. It's probably nothing though, huh?

If Rockstar has been using the forums to know what mysteries people want, then we better ask for some better sh*t than just a jetpack and a flyable ufo! cause I mean, don't you feel a little used? Now the only thing i'm looking up to is a full DLC completely different from the main game yet based on everything we love about GTA, I want a full alien, zombie, dinosaur, ghosts, cult filled DLC with tons of new content, like the red dead redemption DLC but bigger and better. And just imagine all of that in a 16 people online lobby, all of them with new alien guns, clothes, fighting zombies, flying ufos, riding dinosaurs, just everything. Wouldn't you want that? cause I do.

It is hard to see in this photo because it disappears once you fly to close, but there is a red "cube" visible inside of the San Chianski mountain range at night (no weather conditions apply).

 

I recommend viewing from the highway from a helicopter, looking toward the cabin at the end of the railway. Seems to be in that crevasse at the base of the mountain.

Hi Stangone, I respect your ideas and also those of this forum, but here is evidence the first UFO theory was on You Tube way back in August (before the games release even) before it was posted here by Jiggabig. Seems he just watched the You Tube video and was the first to document it here - still a great credit to him but the news was already out.

I am afraid that the poster Jiggabig who called it out here was just first to see the video and document it here, but he did not discover it. I think I first heard of the Chilliad UFO only about a week after the game was released which I think was about the 17th September. This Mystery thread had not even been not been created until October. The first UFO was discovered a mere 3 days after the game was released, and purely by chance - so many players - so many places to be - and so many variable weather patterns. In that first week most of us had hardly even realised there WAS a mystery as we were still mostly enjoying the single player missions. In this video its clear this guy already knew about the Chilliad UFO but was one of the first to post a video. He even thought he had to have the Space Docker on top of Mount Chiliad which was a popular theory back then but remember this video was posted a mere 3 days after the game was released and he already knew what to do regards the weather conditions. No one solved this through the glyphs (sadly) it was just so many monkeys and so many keyboards who eventually will write the words of Shakespeare (see theory here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinite_monkey_theorem ) This also I think proves that after 38 million plus copies of GTA5 sold that anything left to discover would have been discovered already and likely by accident. Its a sad truth and one I don't like to accept, but also mathematically a truth none the less.

I did my friend but its hardly conclusive. The news was out of the bag way before then that is clear. I have edited my post to reflect that. First to post on this forum is not first to discover. If you have evidence otherwise please post it. Way back then there were many many forums debating this. Convince me this one discovered it ?

Slate Mc, I'm not exactly sure what you're saying here. If you have information that I don't, I'd be happy to edit the list. But the information you posted here just confirms what I've already written, and I think you're confusing two different things--videos about UFO rumors and videos of actual MC UFO appearances in gameplay. Let me take a quick look at the sources you cite.

 

 

here is evidence the first UFO theory was on You Tube way back in August (before the games release even) before it was posted here by Jiggabig. Seems he just watched the You Tube video and was the first to document it here - still a great credit to him but the news was already out.

According to my research, the first UFO theory or rumor I could find, the first one that claimed (emphasis on "claimed") to see some kind evidence in actual GTAV game (trailer) footage, was actually more than a year before August, 2013. It was Robo96P3's post in April 2012. That's the first entry in my timeline.

 

I'd bet other people were thinking about UFOs in GTAV before then. (I think I did some research on that but I don't have the information in front of me now.) But as far as I can tell, the first post that linked to picture and video evidence of the actual flying Chiliad UFO is still jiggabig's post from September 19.

 

The YouTube video jiggabig links to was posted by Staz Balzer. I think that jiggabig and Staz Balzer are the same poster, but that might need double-checking. Anyway it looks like jiggabig wrote about the UFO, and then edited the post to include pictures and video later.

 

The Streamerhouse video that you linked to was posted one day after jiggabig, on Sept. 20. According to YouTube, the Staz Balzer video was "Published on Sep 19, 2013" and the Streamerhouse video was "Published on Sep 20, 2013."

 

Again, I know that people were talking about possible UFOs in GTAV a long time before the game came out. I credit a few of the earliest (and possibly the earliest) mentions in my list. But the jiggabig post was most likely the first to give actual proof of this specific UFO in the game.

Why don't you convince us? Maybe he didn't discover it first! Maybe someone else posted it before jiggabig. Like I said, I'd be more than happy to edit my list if you can prove that someone else posted evidence of the MC UFO before jiggabig did. But so far, this is the earliest I've found. Sorry guys from bringing up the damn dam again. But yesterday I wanted to check it out if there is something there. Maybe a clue or something. I took a cab as Michael and glitched in the dam. The taxi fell into the ground and I saw some rooms inside but only the rooms that are accessible from the outside. So probably nothing there?

 

P.s. I wanted to take a picture but couldn't upload it because I could't connect to PSN network (that never happened before, dont know if it came because of the glitch).

Please note, It is not my wish to criticise your timeline at all, merely to point out that it is extremely difficult for anyone to prove that the UFO's were actually discovered by conclusive research by members of this Mystery Hunt thread, rather than by accident.

Well guys, after another full playthrough to 100% and a notepad full of ideas already tried by hardend hunters, I have a thought for all involved.

 

Uhhm, i think you forgot that the ufo at fort zancudo makes a big f*cking light over the bunker wich leads everyone with a brain to the ufo above. The Ufo over the Hippy Camp isnt really over it, that was also a pre simple arrow puzzle you just had to follow till you come to the one who points directly to the ufo in the sky, and the last one i have found by myself by pure happenstance, or you are just a good ee hunter and fly around the mountains like i did and you should find really fast all of the glyphs.

 

Ummmm explain how stubling across "a big f*cking light on a bunker" is in any way related to the glyph mystery?

 

Ummmm explain how the arrows led you to find the HC UFO with no other clues?

I know that the basic dates and times on the Internet sometimes display differently depending on local browser and computer time zone settings. That's one of the reasons I didn't include hours and minutes in the timeline. Instead I added direct links to all of the original posts, so anyone could easily confirm the links on their own and double-check the relative order of the posts in their own local time zone.

 

If my computer somehow found a way to mix up the order of things, I'll edit the timeline. But are you sure it says 20 September 2013 - 12:45 AM? I just checked again too, and when I hover my mouse pointer over the "Posted" date, it still tells me the 19th. 2013-09-19... Weird!

 

Anyway, the point is not different time zones, but the order of the posts. So please show me a link or something that proves that StreamerHouse YouTube video (or any other video of the Chiliad UFO) was posted before "20 September 2013 - 12:45 AM" (?) in your time zone, and I'll gladly fix the list.
