Also this might not relate to anything but I found a random event of some sort at the windfarm at night I found two altruistic guys doing it in a RV and if u get to close they say something like don't let him get away he will tell on us.

Hopefully this doesnt all end up being an

unsatusfying egg like in gta 4 where you get up to the top of the statue and you're just like oh okay wtf

 

I think that they did better this time and that probably at least 5% or more of the game files are pertaining to the egg

 

I mean they'd either put chiliad in the game so it could take up good space they didn't have room to do a lot of stuff with or they use it for something other than walking on

 

I just hope the egg isn't a giant eyeball in the middle of chiliad like the giant heart

 

 

There's far too much that has been found for it to be a lame Easter egg

 

And I'm thinking we have everything we need In the game,

Maybe the DLC will just give more hints

 

 

Another thing, I may have missed but idk, I don't Remember seeing anyone say that they have Actually ran into anyone that is in the children of the mountain, I'd think that we have to meet them but idk just a thought

Not sure if anyone knows about this but at the wind farm there is a nonworking windmill and if you look from the right angle and distance it adds three extra blades and makes a star.

Someone posted a couple of images not long ago. I dont recollect much of a discussion about it. I'm not reloading all those pages on my phone to look for it.

Personally i thought it just looked like a glitch or another turbine hiding behind it. Personally i didnt think much else of it.

 

What do you think it means if it is an intended state, how does it help us?

I played just a few hours online so I've never got missions from Trevor, but this one at http://gta.wikia.com..._Communications:

 

Satellite Communications is a mission in Grand Theft Auto Online given to the player by Trevor Philips.

 

"Methamphetamine abuse musta really taken a hold in the Lost Motorcycle Club, 'cause some of the brother are stealing satellite dishes from the communications tower behing the Vinewood sign. Ol' Ron could use those dishes to pick up on Federal, lizard, and extra-terrestrial signals, so we need 'em more thank they do. Leave the trailer they got loaded in my yard."

 

I'm really not a fan of mixing online with SP, it's supposed to take place before SP and so on, but this discription gets to damn specific IMO!

(T stating that Ron could get some FIB, lizard(!?) and alien signals)

 

Any of you did or have access to this mission?

This could actually hold some merit. I was watching TV on GTA Online in my apartment, and Michaels daughter Tracey was on Fame or Shame. She goes on the show in Story mode, so I'm thinking Online may eventually catch up to Story if you play it long enough. No solid proof though. Just thought I'd add this.

I cant think of any other reason online should be set at a different time than to make sure those playing single player for the EEs realise the two are not connected.

Only my own thoughts but I'm convinced on and offline are two separate games that dont interact with each other. Indeed a lot of stuff relating the the mystery is not online.

If R* wanted to have them interact with each other surely they would have set them at the same time and had challenge, collectables cross over so for example one of the letter scraps could have been in the online world.

 

That said i do think there are some clues there which confuses my opinion.

Somthing that sticks in my head is a race that ends up in sandy shores at a spot ripe for abductions.

Online still holds some mystery but personally i think nothing that is a must have for offline.

Also I found a glitch at the beach, there is something under the map. I can't see what it is, next time I will try the sniper to look at it.

Seems like a rotating square?

 

I'm convinced there's a UFO to be found somewhere near LS airport. Would that rotating square be around there? Like the FZ one? I can't do any investigating for a few days, but that's just added something to a theory I've was investigating. I'll be interested in anything anyone can find out about that square. My attentions were focused on Hanger A17 and the Sightings Restaurant. Hanger A17 has the Pegasus logo, but not the name. Michael's hanger has the same logo with the name.

 

Could be. I will check later, I'm installing the game now (got a new hdd in my PS3, other one died.) And I have download a 100% savegame so I can play tonight instead of replaying the whole story now.

Maybe this has something to do with the circling plane above the airport? Above the ufo looking restaurant called "sightings"? With 2 big jumps and a beer commercial sign with the text "let it rain..."?

So I was at the Altruist camp & I was there watching the sun set when the sun was directly in front of me & I saw something so I used the sniper and I saw an outline of a possible ufo infront of the sun?btw I seen another out line like it in front of the crest moon while at the hippie camp. Im going to look more in to it just thought I should say something

I remember trying to interact with the scaffolding etc against the broken one with the hope i might trigger it to start working again but got no joy.

I think everyone lost me on the time in GTA V. If I'm right I'll be the one credited with solving the mystery. Friday I will have a 100% save file from Online. But I wander if Real Time Clock has an effect on GTA V. Like set the time of your Console clock to September 17th 2014.

Rockstar knew that people wouldn't get 100% on the first day. Also by the 1st year anniversary of the game most people would have 100% in the game by then.

Since it seems that the UFO's are Static according to the file guys. If the date can trigger them to be non static I bet the mystery will be solved. I encourage ppl to beat me to it. If not then by Friday I'll be the first to know.

I also know further proof because @Tadd I believe looked into the Date and time and some of those go into years. In game years I believe. There is a thing about 2020 or something I was thinking if a year in real life could bring the game into 2020 timeline. Even if off by some or alot either way it's close.

@stangone50 So this fun fact leads to 2024, There is also an in game sign at the theatre I believe that says 2024. This date ppl have mentioned several times as well. So set your time and date to September 17th 2014 go to Mt Chiliad and see what happens. If you don't cheat then I can't help you. But use weather cheat and quit the game without saving. It doesn't count as a cheat used. It is all leading together. I'm sure I think we are really close to solving the mystery.

Was at the altorists camp looking at the stone and its immediate area. Looked north nothing there, turned round 360' and saw somthing white on the hill opposite.

Looked at the clock, 10.00pm.

Went over and they are motionless not saying anything. I spoke to them (luckily franklin said somthing about keeping us safe) one of them grunted a thanks or somthing then dead silence again.

 

 

Edit, sorry my point is they suddenly appeared at 10pm and are all staring at somthing i cant make out myself.

Has anyone also found the image of a man or creature drawn (kind of) on a pillar of those bridges on a river near the Alamo Sea? It has been a while since I saw it. I had searched on the net to find out if other people had seen the thing too and didn't come across any people mentioning it.

Strangone, are you basing your figures off standing at the bedside and saving to progress time on?

I think saving maybe actually longer than backing out before saving which still progresses the time.

I wonder how long that process takes, it wouldn't be difficult to work out how long in real time it would take to do in one lump.

That might give you another time or date to think about.

 

Personally i think once everyone starts on the path of looking for times or dates we will end up with people seeing stuff in anything and everything. I dont believe its a good path to follow personally but i wish those playing with their machine time good luck.

 

I just had a thought,

Didnt the file guys suggest the real time and date isn't checked? Maybe im mis-remembering it.

True, but the areas that make up Temple District are still in Downtown LS, and I'm not even sure if it doesn't say you're "Temple District" at any point in the game (can't boot up to try atm as the wife is hogging the tube).

Looking into the whole how u play the game etc. People have said that the in game website still says people were killed even if they didn't do it etc. (Dr Friedlander and others) I was just reading the GTA5 wiki and apparently with the merryweather heist the internet will report that the freighter gets attacked even if u pick the off shore option. So maybe these are the clues we are looking for? The way to play the game! Obviously it would involve replaying and checking the in game internet after every choice. Could use quick save before making choices and just reload if necessary. I'm going to start a new game tomorrow and see how this pans out. If anyone has thought of and done this to no effect let me know to save me another 50 odd hours to get back to 100% for the third time!
