The strange alien circular symbols found @ hippie camp (&various other places) contains one symbol that looks exactly like these towers do when they are viewed from the air.

No input to put in here, I just wanted to say that this is a great thread! After reading through 70+ pages (damn my eyes hurt -.-) this is definitely the most exciting and mysterious aspect of GTAV!! I just really hope it doesn't lead to a dead end.

 

Also, A member posted earlier about R* making things easy to find because of the audience; R* know that fans of the GTA serious can be obsessive, and a perfect example of this is the whole "bigfoot" thing in SA. Members were going crazy for years, until it was debunked. Another factor to take into consideration is that not everything in a game is found straight away; recently (within the past few years) a secret quest was found on Final Fantasy 9, which we all know came out yonks ago! My point is that not everything is black and white; this could become more clear in the future, esepcially with guys examining the game and sound files.

 

I'm not quite at 100%, but when I am, I will definitely join the hunt! and if we don't find the jetpack or another easter egg, ah well, its been fun speculating

show stopper urg! There is a jetpack sooner or later will be found we just need to focus on everything once again im going insane with this hunt myself I find absolutely nothing everyday lol but it's worth knowing there's something to find n not so disappointing at the end of the day

You can't say that for sure, it's just something that you can assume, for now.

It's plausible that they keep some mysteries for further dlcs, anyway the r* silence its the best proof of something hidden IMHO

If you continue to search, there is plenty to find. Sometimes not in the way you'd expect. I personally have branched my search out, and have learned many new things in many areas of knowledge (history, geography, agriculture, science, technology, astrology) As a whole, this mystery can lead you on a vast learning experience if your willing to open your mind, and look at all possibilities. Has been a fun learning experience for me so far, and has definitely changed the way I look at many different problems and situations now. Good luck, and keep hunting.

Ok... i thought to myself ages ago when first getting the game, if you turn the map on its side it sort of lines up with the old SA map...

With this being said again now and everything i have seen so far in the hunts i had a thought...

someone a little while ago (maybe v1 topic) said about how the cut engine barrier at the edge of the map was not there on the east coast...

If you flip the gta 5 map on its side to look like gta SA map, that would make everything like las venturas and stuff where the east coast was on the gta 5 map... maybe there is extra space there because las venturas and all the other places will be added... or it was left there from when they originally had it but decided to remove it and left the east coast useable and with no barrier...

Just a thought... could be a coincidence but bit much that there is a useable area with nothing there, right where las venturas and area 69 and stuff should be.

 

My theory on said land is that it is for North Yankton. I don't know how many of you play online but there was a glitch not so long ago which enabled you to fly to North Yankton on Online. This was at the South-East of the map in it's original orientation. IE Where Las Venturas would be if the map was flipped 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

@above... yankton seemed more south to me and no where near as far out to the east as it will let you fly... my only explanation is that it is where interiors load.

Does anyone remember seeing a pic of the jetpack man with hair? For some reason i have this distinct image in my head (from close after the release) of a stick man with hair... the head and hair was a little like the sun with wavy rays at the altruist camp... maybe just me going mad but i went to look at the jetpack man close up and thought huh... where is his hair lol

You should take note of how many hours of play you have on your save, from which the in game date of this could be extrapolated, as it might be a particular in game natural phenomenon if it's not just the nth glitch.

Do you still see the sun or is it finally the eclypse that s.o. was speculating as a possible event?

 

(BTW, in real life I've seen the sky colored just that way once while waiting for a train at around 4:30a.m., here in Italy, many years ago. I don't know why that color happened in that particular day, since it was the first time I was awake and outside during those hours before the sun becomes visible, so I thought it was normal at the moment, but I've never seen that kind of sky since, despite having witnessed many auroras since then.)

Its not gonna be any dlc what ever we look for is in that game we just not getting everything in order we not trying to figure out.. What how and where everything fit's in I've played alot of adventure games I just can't get why everything in gta v seems so impossible im sure most of you played tomb raider uncharted 2 n 3 I mean some games where extremely hard but in the end you always complete it no matter how hard n nerve wrecking it was!! For gta v was childs play at the beginning the missions we're too easy everything was easy till it came to a point where you have to do stuff to reach 100% n when we got to 100% all we got was a discount store t shirt and ability to see ufo's well thats not it there's more of a reward n they even gave us clue's even when you start the game its in the hint manu (dislike exercise? Why not take cable car up chilliad!)

I'm convinced there's a UFO to be found somewhere near LS airport. Would that rotating square be around there? Like the FZ one? I can't do any investigating for a few days, but that's just added something to a theory I've was investigating. I'll be interested in anything anyone can find out about that square. My attentions were focused on Hanger A17 and the Sightings Restaurant. Hanger A17 has the Pegasus logo, but not the name. Michael's hanger has the same logo with the name.

Could be. I will check later, I'm installing the game now (got a new hdd in my PS3, other one died.) And I have download a 100% savegame so I can play tonight instead of replaying the whole story now.

Well I think there are alot of good theories.

But there was another game famous for Easter Eggs. Batman Arkham City. But the game uses a Real time In game Clock to coor-respond with events mostly involving a character. No Spoilers for those who haven't played. But GTA V has a real time connection in game as well possibly.

 

Rockstar updated GTA Online with Snow on Christmas. If the Snow was already in the files and it can be accessed probably from Online files around Christmas. Has anyone thought to Change Real time date to September 17th 2014? Rockstar knew noone could beat the game in 1 day to 100% everything. So my guess will something trigger on that day with 100%? It's a really good question you know.

Im now hooked on trying to figure out the website www.chiliadmystery.com and to see if its at all related to rockstar or a hoax. Googled the ip and ownership and it came up in all privacy but from Canada. Ontario to be excact. Rockstar has an office in Ontario. I called the number registered with the IP and it just rang forever. But the website must be legitament if its linked back to rockstar. The website was created 10 days after the release of GTA 5. @nextonex. I like how you have made an overlay for the hippy camp but unfortunately the way you have put it over chiliad throws up a lot of questions like have you located any of the items we see in the hippy camp model on chiliad?

 

Not sure if you have read any of my posts regarding the hippy camp and how i have located and placed most of the items into the actual map?

 

Anyway what i would like to ask you or anyone else who may be able to help, could you take the image you made and overlay it onto the map but from the Radar dishes and right down to the dam area. You will need to stretch the image somewhat. It won't fit exactly as i have stated before that i believe the hippy camp is a map not made to scale and i think useless parts of the map were left out of the hippy model to save space.

 

If anyone could do this it would be a massive help with regards to locating "All" the items. Once we can safely say for sure where the model is showing us then we can move on to conditions/triggering etc.

 

I am pretty convinced my theory is sound as to the area that is depicted in the model but seems others are unsure. We need to know either way and i think this could help.

Not sure if anyone knows about this but at the wind farm there is a nonworking windmill and if you look from the right angle and distance it adds three extra blades and makes a star.

I have been working very very hard for you all and myself too over the last two weeks in the hope that i can provide some credible leads and also to limit psychosis as a result of going round in circles. Hammered the game left right and centre with hardly any sleep only to find people still looking lost.

 

I won't give up though as i can feel i'm getting closer to cracking the hippy camp etc.

The (sand glyph) arrow looking landing strip theory, from the other day. If following all the arrows....Disregard the giant office arrow

( because it points vertical while all others horizontal) but just past it, on the back of a bill board is a red arrow pointing right at the landing strip. I feel that this is another confirmation that this theory has great potential.
