As Trever i went to the house in sandy beach and saw ron with his gun talking about sights being messed with so i shot the bottles which then ron walked off, so i turned around and walked to the house to huff the gas and another ron came out of Trevor trailer asd i was walking up the steps, he had the leg brace but no glasses or hat and when i tried to insult him i didn't say anything and the wannabe ron talked to me as if he was a nobody and different voice, so i karate chopped him and went to huff the gas, just as i passed out and hit the floor i could see legs walking out of Trevor trailer again with the leg brace, then he blacked out....wtf???

Would be nice to have some solid evidence to look at again instead of everyones's random thoughts on rock formations etc Sorry, not having a pop at anyone here just seems we are going around in circles sometimes and can get a little frustrating. It's tough especially as we seem to all agree "Jetpack will be in the DLC" so what the hell are we looking for except another easter egg we are not even sure exists ? I know that sounds negative and I don't really mean it to be, I enjoy the hunt as much as anyone else. Is fun to examine the game in minute detail.

I know what you mean lately I find my self staring at the map on the pause screen without any clue of where I want to go or what to do .

You know you can still get a jetpack now... it just takes imagining you have one as hard as you can.

 

I love my jetpack.

I don't know what it is, but my guess is it appears to be something they made just for testing purposes.

First I again don't believe this is the place the directions lead us.

 

Second if that is the person you gotta talk to then jp9865 or everyone else who got here by the directions (which is the majority of people) should of activated the trigger by now and you wouldn't be guessing

 

and thirdly, (and do bring proof if I'm wrong) Frank Mathers was killed in a submarine "accident"

Well something very strange happened to me tonight regarding the docks.

I've started again and after I unlocked Trevor I have just done gun running missions to make $500,000. I made it tonight and was following the directions to the dock.

As I went through the fort zancudo tunnel the screen started to pulse (best word I can use to describe it) I put it down to Jets taking off overhead once it happened again as I was leaving the tunnel. But it carried on happening until I got to hookies bar when a random event popped up (the one with the pink car theif) I ignored the random event and carried on to the dock but the pulsing had stopped. I got to the dock and nothing happened. So I turned it off!

 

But the pulsing was strange. Has it ever happened to anyone before? It was like a sort of bass pulse from a speaker if that makes sense. Maybe the random event popping up stopped whatever was going to happen?

has anyone ever had the mini map flash white at any time in your game, if so , can someone tell me what it is? happened a few times now, I have completed all strangers and freaks and random events, it isn't a bank van either as there is no blue dots around when it occurs.it is as if the game is telling me I should stop and have a look around but nothing is ever found? anyone shed any light on this for me please and thanks in advance. also it never happens in the same area.

sorry to be off topic everyone, but I also find the Canada advertisements on this forum pretty interesting as two of the pictures they are using seem an awful lot like the Alamo sea from the east and the picture in Michaels house of the river running between the mountains, probably nothing at all but throwing my thoughts out nevertheless.

This seems to look like the "Time Played" stat on the SC website. maybe nothing, maybe something.

 

We know that the altruist camp does some sort of checking for specific times. Year/Month/Day/Hour/millisecond, or something like that. Unless this has been disproven?

EDIT: Also, the way the double O's in the VINEWOOD sign are seperated from everything else, like an infinite symbol, always seemed odd to me.

 

Almost looks like VI NEW OO D. 6 Knew Infinity(infinite + D)

Im not sure if you know this but the real Hollywood sign once said Hollywoodland. In the rocketeer they just change the reason why it was changed to just Hollywood. So thats not a direct reference, I lived in hollywood for several years and have seen many vintage photos in shops and stores of the original Hollywoodland sign

It's a perspective thing BUT, it looks off from ANY angle, honestly. something about the double O's that doesn't fit with the rest of the sign.

Just kind of figured that with all the other rocketeer tie-in's, this one was pretty obviously a Rocketeer reference and not a reference to the original Hollywoodland name. I guess everything is debatable.

I disagree. having lived in LA for most of my life, I can assure you that "Hollywoodland" stuff is everywhere, and it's very well-known. The picture you found merely refers to what the vinewood sign once looked like...However, this is not to disprove anything you've come forth with. I am wholeheartedly convinced that these "rocketeer" references have a strong tie-in with the mystery. It's all just too damn coincidental.

I agree entirely. For him to say "this one isn't really debatable." is complete ignorance. No proper research there just guess work which often steers us on a bad tangent. I do agree there are Rocketeer references also in the game, just this was not one of them. No offence XMarqstheSpot but Google is a simple tool. Use it.
