No idea on the 5 boxes, i was just thinking out loud when I noticed the resemblance to the Tesla coil that just happens to be in the same observatory in real life, that we have in the game. There may be no relevance at all, but sometimes just throwing an idea into the mix might make someone else see a link.

I think about that because we have 4 ls and 1 beeker and at the beeker's garage location you have the RON sign. Unique car+unique garage+Ron Sign(only at this location)...Dunno

@JP..That thing about R* saying we would never find everything was true. I saw it myself but it was more along the lines of we will never find all the easter eggs in the game. With so many referances to pop culture , movies etc in the game I think he just meant we would not notice all of them.

It also looks as if it could be plugged into something, like an electrical socket, if we found a corresponding sized hole somewhere in game and at the right height.

And with the amount of EE's in game it would suprise me if they went to even more trouble to create a lengthy mystery that remains unsolved. Even just the subtle eggs like the submarine being yellow.

 

Also can I ask everyone. What are we searching for exactly? It started off looking for a jetpack. Now we know it's still not in game. Codes for stats etc may be, but textures etc aren't. So what are we looking for?

I think its done people! waiting on DLC for our jetpack although I'm sure it will be just given to us through a mission. Although if R* are really present here they will make a DLC which just loads up like normal 100% GTA5. No missions or anything. Except a mystery! Leading to the jetpack. That would be cool.

this plug could be also a receptor to receive thunder energy, but i don't know where we can put the SD to the vertical. Ok it's a buggy but i've never seen a SD to the vertical("tower radio" glyph?). Franklin could be able to do this with his spec ab?

right i was sitting playing xbox with my mate the other night with my mate who doesnt play much gta, when i was explaining that the space docker may have rockets on it but just need powered up he replied "well that would make sense with the 2 prongs on the sd, u must just have to plug it in somewhere with the 2 prongs on it" i had never thought of this before but on thinking bout it he could well have a point?

edit : the part of the thoery i thought had a point was from the prongs going to the rockets is a neon wire/cable it could just be possible

I've been thinking about the egg. Alot of the easter eggs in game come from san Andreas. Bigfoot, ghost, ufo etc. What also came from San Andreas - hot coffee - they knew we would look through the files and possibly put things in there to throw us off/keep us hunting. Same with the asteroid. Although iirc the asteroid, alien egg and jetpack are all called prop in the files. Could be DLC content.

 

Interesting that he mentioned 4 in the interview. All the eggs were found in 4 but he doubts they will be in 5. Is that a hint at something hidden or just saying that the eggs are like they are in 4, just more of them and more obscure ones. I suppose it's all open to interpretation. Same as the mural! And the whole game!

I don't know if that article is the same one I read, in reference to the easter eggs... I'm not saying it is not the one, but I thought it was at a different site (and not a quote of the TechRadar article)... this one seems to be more about pop culture/movie references not being found...

"The art director for Grand Theft Auto V has told TechRadar that the game is so packed with references he doubts many people will even see them."

Maybe its just the way the writer is making it sound... I was pretty sure the article I had read seemed to include easter eggs more and seemed to hint more at there being something more these things... not that it said there was a mystery or anything... it just seemed to elaborate on it a little more.

I remember reading it twice trying to figure out what they meant, then just wrote it off as being a little hype-ish and inconclusive... I get the impression I also took it a little like the speaker was almost challenging the players to try and find everything...

I don't know... its been too long and I've probably read so many crap articles and reddit posts it has fused too many things together at this point to be worth pondering...

I think back at the previous version of this thread people had looked into that probe on the Space Docker... I didn't really buy into it, but kept my eyes open for something that might conceivably plug into the SD or the the SD could interact with... I never found anything and the chatter about that theory died down after a few pages... In my opinion, that probe looks like a 1950s "Buck Rodgers" idea of what a energy transmitter or ray gun might look like... if you have ever watched Futurama, its like a running joke to "futurize" everything by adding little antennas (like that) with rings or discs on them.

The space docker has always bugged me A LOT... (to me) it looks like a half baked concept, like something little kids (like the Goonies) would put together back in the 50s or 60s (except it would be a go-kart or something peddle powered)... like Omega put this thing together just using junk (the rocket thrusters look like trash cans) and it really had no science behind it... sort of like when a really crazy person makes something that "looks" like it should work, just because it is complicated and has lots of lights and buttons, but there is absolutely actually no real science behind it... sorta like those Roswell people who make UFO shrines or miniature UFOs to attract "real" UFOs... just wacky ideas...

But then you go and see Omega assemble the spaceship parts you give him into something that actually seems to work... which sort of contradicts the the look and goofy useless nature of the SD...

In addition you just have Omega go wandering off after that... sort of leaving the whole encounter feeling unfinished or like his part in the game is still left open...

And there are those damn horns... why are there so many?... At first I just wrote it off as (given the childish look of the SD) that they were something like those electronic sirens little kids could attach to their tricycles or bikes, the one that have a switch to play different emergency vehicle siren sounds... only like this was a sci fi version...

I don't know maybe I got desperate or sucked into the "honk at it" theories, but I kinda feel like maybe there was something more to it...

And secondly, I appreciate the conspiracy references, and the easter eggs that are in the game. My point is there is no Grand Easter Egg to be "found" within the game that hasn't been found yet.

Other than that the easter eggs are for our MINDS.

 

 

There are many cool and interesting things to be discovered in the game, so I'm not against the idea of a "hunt", I actually quite welcome it.

Its just I hate seeing this turn into GTA SA again. Where there are people still lookin for the "Big Secret" in that game to this day but its simply just NONEXISTENT.

Are you just as determined as those people are?

I am just trying to save some people of wasted time and spare them the dissapointment.

Because there is nothing that can be found that will satisfy the great appetite for some huge, over the top, mInd blowIng, game defInIng, legendary, big secret experience.

 

I am not saying give up the hunt for eggs, just don't get too excited and set your expectations so irrationally

high, hoping to find a portal to an alternate universe or something like that... well maybe you can, but after 10 years pases by, it might be time to let go of those determinations.

lets say hypothetically, I got on SA forums, a long time ago, and told everyone that there was no "big secret" and that it was a "big LIE".

What kind of reaction would I have gotten? THE SAME REACTION I AM GETTING NOW!

But as time would tell, the more appropriate title would have been "beacon of light"..

I remember a reddit thread a few months ago outlining how the FZ UFO sounds alot like some of the Max Payne soundtrack. I played the sh*t out of this game for 2 years and I have to completely agree, however I think I found a better example of the similarity between the sounds than the example that was presented in that thread.

Health did the whole of Max payne 3 soundtrack, they also have a song on Radio Mirror Park, their albums and music have been promoted many times on the newswire seperately from the games over the past 2 years also, so they seem to be real buddy buddy with someone at Rockstar.....unthinkable that they would get the band Health to make these UFO sounds for them in the SFX studio? Just a theory haha!
