I've just made a map for where the eye i found today is. http://imgur.com/F7cCRjW X marks the location and the arrow pointing out Mount Gordo is the point of view to see the bird. Stand on the central rock of this http://imgur.com/4xY1MVd grab your sniper and zoom in on Mt Gordo. Funny thing is its wings and feathers seem more detailed than its head :S

Also if you stay on the spot and don't move a Mt. Lion or Wolf (whatever it is) will come inside the eye and go to sleep just below the middle rock. If you kill it another one comes after about an hour (in-game) it walks the exact same line and sleeps in the exact same spot. Just remember the bird isn't really visible unless its a sunny day with no fog/clouds (I used cheats). I'm hoping you guys actually see this one cos I think its an Eagle.

I just had a random thought, surely one of you has tried it by now though. What happens when you stand at the glyphs found around the mountain? Does anything happen if you stand at the rain glyph while it's raining or when you stand at the moon glyph when there is a crescent moon? Has anyone figured out if the rain glyph might possibly trigger rain some how? Like go to it at 2am?

Official Breaking News from Tadd on the File thread.

 

According to Tadd, Reoze and Glokon. The Alien Egg is close by 0.0 and the location is around the Bishops WTF Building. We need ppl who have the collision tool Tgas made or aka Tom.

 

The Alien Egg lies secret in that area hidden in a small room according to the file guys.

 

This is now the most important area right now.

We can solve this together and if we find the egg. The Jetpack could be next and maybe truly reveal it's presence.

 

My undestanding is look for false walls around that area.

Search all times of day, week, Moon phases and whatever you can.

Even use the Space Docker in the area.

 

Whatever crazy theory you can think of in that location, I say go for it and think outside of your mind. Try anything and everything to solve this.

 

Let's Go Hunters and end this search.

 

Edit: Just to add to that go to the file Thread for collision models and such. The Bishops WTF is the Building with the UFO on it.

Though I'm no file expert at all, imo this is not exactly correct.

Many file hunters may have fallen down due to the "slow progress" being made.

Others might just have been fed up or got some other "ocupation" like Tadd did.

Still, imho, there's still is a lot to hunt for (i.e. green alien egg, suposed to be in game, maybe near wtf building), even at the disk files, before pc version cames out...

Another i.e - I've asked twice at FT for the collision models of the port and port building, with no luck so far. Who's to say there's nothing there?

 

@malcolmfunktion (again) - I've watched it and I think I've already answered that on my previous post...

PM is the tool if anyone wants to start a fight!

This post had a hidden agenda. I was trying to make a connection between altruism and epsilonism.

 

The only place you can see the image is standing on an eye. And the Eagle (metaphoric or not) is mentioned at least 10 times in the tract of Epsilon

 

Altruism > Eye > Eagle > Epsilonism

 

My thinking was that someone with a better understanding of the tract and altruist website would be able to connect some dots they had suspected related with each other. But then again maybe there is no link it's just what came to mind.

 

Also the pic isn't clear at all but I'm glad you can see what I see

Since this thread has been mostly behaving recently, I am back for a bit (and I'm sharing cause I'm stuck)

 

The funny thing about all of this is that in the process of looking for the jetpack (a science based object), we are using alien related clues (supernatural), and things seem to overlap, but in the end we have nothing else to go on. (Also remember that the Alutruists hate technology, they don't have it, and if they did they would have disposed of it)

I agree with the conclusion that there is no jetpack, but I am wondering why Rockstar would do such a thing as to give false hope like this, it's just really unneccessary.

 

Now for a psychological thought:

Let's imagine that a 'person' painted the mural in the cable car house, that person is someone who has been all over the mountain, and also to the altruist camp, where they saw the jetpack shadow, and they are simply offering up their findings in a painting form, and it's something they don't understand. One thing that doesn't add up is why the individual marked the glyphs as 'x's instead of drawing those glyphs, when the altruist logo, egg and jetpack are drawn as they are. Perhaps this person is the one who drew the glyphs themselves, or perhaps this individual has found and acquired the jetpack (probably not). I also note that the Tractor beam one is the largest and easiest to see and they become smaller and harder to see as you work down to the 5th. Not that I can draw any real conslusion from that at all.

I am also wondering why the 2 main glyphs are present at the Hippy Camp, but the light/tractor beam one is missing. I guess because you won't see one there, but then that doesn't explain why the ufo there appears at all times and weather conditions...

 

Continuing with the Hippy Camp, the 'opposite' mountain to the Chiliad that is referenced, depicts the vineyard with the purple lines, and among that lies the wow! signal. So yesterday I spent at least 2 hours searching there but came up empty. I searched every crop row looking for clues in the leaves and every patch of ground, and the rocky & stream areas nearby but found nothing but a handbasket and a wooden tray. I did not experience it with rain at 3am particularly however (I did it online as single player annoys me, so I could not force rain) but I doubt it'll be any different, there is that bell that chimes regularly though, although I think it's a coincidence that we have a particular sound occuring here when the wow! signal is sound related.

 

I'm not even sure what I'm looking for anymore, but I'll take any clue to anything that I can find. In the end, all we have are these damn man made ufos. Unless we want to visit the possibility that Merle Abraham from the infinite 8 thing was an alien, which would give us new reason to look into the underlined stuff in 9A, the fruit tree being 'a lie' is still on my mind. And also that 'they'll never find my people' thing, whether or not he is referring to the people killed and thrown in the sea (nearby the sunken 'real' ufo mind you), or 'his people' being aliens, and his jesting at us, the players.

 

Lastly, I think that star on the rock is a photoshop, I know the countryside much better than the city and I would recognize the scene. Until someone pony's up the original pic on social club, it's only worth declaring fake. There's not a whole of lot experimenting that could be done with such an object (shoot/blow it, Space Docker it, time/weather), so there would be no reason to withhold it's location beyond a couple of days.

@majorvienna. I like your thoughts above however not sure i agree about the vineyard part with the wow signal. How does that fit? Why the wow signal?

Not sure if you were around when i was investigating the hippy camp model but through close inspection i managed to place most things from the model into the game world including the wow signal and the blue lines. Linking the blue lines to the vineyards was the easiest solution at first due to the vineyard being the closest match visually. However i saw that the blue lines matched the blue coloured landscape and the lines were just a rough way of show it as something in the distance(with little detail). The wow signal, so how does that fit? 6 letters/numbers/digits - 6 E Q U J 5 encased within a sausage shaped border, where can we find something similar? 6 large Radar Dishes in a row that if looked at on the map are encased within a sausage shaped border. It's all there plain to see.

Think i will hop on the pc later and re post an image i made to show this and many more things too.
