Interesting I remember I had a running suit for Trevor but not for Franklin ( during marathon)

Dunno if anyone read my post a few weeks ago saying, the right side of grove street looks like the right side of the mural.

But if you check it, that would put the 3 Xs on Juliet, Liz, and Nikki's houses.

And if you get a booty call with Juliet, it rains but the chiliad ufo wont appear.

they will not unlock a ufo or jetpack with a easteregg.

Liz lives in a building called the tahitian, its between the black circles.

If you mark the buildings as points of interest on the ingame map you can see it clearer.

The other 2 strippers Infernus and Sapphire, live at the top of the map near Michael's house.

i won the 3rd with Trevor and got 1st in the first try was hard and actually bugged because i was 1st in water all the time 1st in bike as well but suddenly a blue point spawns million miles away from me and it shows im 2nd. When its time to run the npc was just waiting for me to start running

marathon 2 : Middle> Mickael((Doing yoga doesn't give the physical energy to do a marathon :pp)

Marathon 3 :Hardest> Franklin(trains home;young)

There is a fourth marathon to do,

Each character must participate in a specific step that is indicated by the Mary-an missions.
Franklin Swim
Trevor bike
Michael Race
or
Only michael Because He Has a swimming pool, a bike, and the E Mission in desert

The race ends at the mount gordo where michael must doing yoga during the sunset
The race begins where lives Dr. Frielander (first mission)

No idea for checkpoints. Maybe 69.

 

Length and time. I have not calculated the time each Marathon takes, but the intervals appear to be exponential. If I took the time to make a curve there would be a pretty fair range. I want to say 48 minutes, by association of ideas, X raised this point.

 

 

 

As you can see, I'm not afraid of ridicule, I post speculation after making a huge mistake yesterday.

Not quite sure what you are getting at but, i was just inquiring if anyone had done all 3 races with all 3 characters.

 

the "I'll wait" was because i doubt anyone has, except maybe a special few OCD type players.

 

Honestly, who took an Hour an Ten Minutes at least to mash the A button? i'm guessing not a big group of people.

On the fist page I was like "what is this crap, this isn't related at all" by the end I was thinking GTAV was heavily influenced by this.

 

After a much needed few days off from the Metaphorical stuff i feel refreshed, so i'm back until i'm burnt out again

I noticed that also killing random pedestrians (several in a short period of time) and stealing moving cars (several in a short period of time) triggers rain.

To me, this seems the only real reflection of "karma" in the game: if you do "bad things", the weather gets worse.

I'm sure.

The fact is I like to change car a lot when moving in the city area (at any given moment: not the same day/savefile): I go out and back into the VIP area, when, if you keep on changing the car you're driving, you may be able to induce the game to load a different set of vehicles, so that you can eventually find the car you want.

But doing this I have the negative effect to get rainy weather everytime: darn it, but the bad feeling reinforced the memory!

 

After taking note of this I noticed also that the weather gets worse when I do bad things in general, such as rolling over some pedestrians, plus a security van hit (when available), plus some car stealing, plus whatever, all in a succession, so that it all happens in a short period of time, or maybe so that I don't do anything different, or not considered bad, to interrupt this chain of negative acts.

 

Another thing I think I noticed, but I'm not so sure about it because of a much lesser number of trials, is that the weather seems to get better when you go for a date with other characters: you call them when it's raining, and as soon as you reach the meeting point the rain stops falling.

Yes X

 

I have OCD'd all 3 triathlons with all 3 protagonists lol

...and came in first in each of the 3 legs of each triathlon (leg= swimming, cycling, and running)

Not an easy task especially on the biking part of the last triathlon

 

The key I have found to accomplishing this is in the swimming part

Swimming underwater will increase your speed advantage over the other racers

I believe this has something to do with the water surface constantly moving up and down to create the wave action

By swimming underwater you are effectively shorting the distance you have to travel

I have found that swimming just below the surface is the fastest route

 

As you can see in the image below by doing this I can give myself a hefty lead by the time I reach the bikes in the 3rd triathlon

I showed 3 images that will depict just how much of a lead this creates.

As you can see by the time the other racers reach the bikes I am long gone

...however no matter how much of a lead I have, the game still cheats and they catch up with me

So I run them off the road at every chance I get especially when your on the narrow path at the beach

It's loaded with things like lite poles that you can push the other racers into lol and if your fingers are fast enough you can come in first in even this leg of the triathlon

 

As far as your question I'm not sure what you were asking...

It does seem as there would be some sort of physical endgame in GTAV concerning all the deeper stuff.

 

But as it stands now, it's all just suggestive.

I run the long triathlon only once, and I had a stiff hand for a day or two afterwards.

I won with no difficulties despite being hit and grounded by some spectator I run into when transferring from swimming to cycling (look out: they become red dots on you as soon as you touch them: no respect for your athlete status at the moment!).

So basically the race is cheating to catch on you when you're way ahead, but it's also cheating in your favour when you get way behind.

 

A trick someone might not have noticed, which could be one of the causes for people to lose their advantage during the cycling part of the race: when you're on a speed bicycle, pushing your direction stick forward causes the character to put his head down, hence reducing air resistence and incrementing the top speed.

I did all 3 triathlons with all 3 protags one after another, but I also play guitar in a band so my fingers are already well conditioned to moving fast and having a lot of endurance

I guess it is strongly dependent on the technique you adopt for repeated button pressing:

I had no clue that the race would have been so long, since I also did all of them one after another, and all the other races were fairly short and painless.

During the last race I had to hit the pause and let my hand rest at least three times, just in order to prevent cramps from my thumb up to half my forearm!

If had to repeat the experience, I would literally give it the middle finger, this time around. Save your thumbs, guys: as the monkeys we are, we're dependent on their functionality ...

@deadman .. I have read of people doing this.. swimming underwater during triathalons but for some reason the game never let me do it. All my races were close and I always won in the end in the foot race.

 

Was reading Erams post couple pages back. It sucks that we have lost many good hunters and i wonder if we'd be any further along if they were all still here. I started playing MP to get the stupid platinum trophy and since I find it very difficult going back to SP, its just boring as hell. I can imagine its like being in the cheaters pool all by yourself lol

 

I wish I could help more but I have well over 1000 hours in and havent come across anything that seems relevant whatsoever in ages. Sure I find lil things here and there but I have lost track of what has been found and noted.

 

Were almost 6 months in and imo no better off than we were after 2 months of searching.

All we know at this point is R* trolled all of us. Idk I am just very dissapointed and feel bitter about the whole situation.

...but like I said months ago

they did the same thing with GTA4

They had hints to several thing you could do like play golf, skydive, and excetra, excetra, that were not included in the original game

So we had to wait for the DLC TLaTD and TBOGT in order to access this part of the game, unlike the original SA that had it all in from the start

 

Assuming they intended to make things like playing basketball...

Hinted to buy the basketball courts

playing pool...

Hinted to by the pool tables

...and so forth and so on

 

it seems this is become a growing trend with rockstar

they create all these cool things to do but then separate them into additional games in order to make money

 

the really sad part is they actually make fun of all the games for doing this exact same thing

if you bring up your phone and goto media in entertainment and then go to the bottom of the list you will see righteous slaughter 7

if you play the video that's on that website they actually make fun of all the games charging for DLC but yet they did the same exact thing with GTA 4 and it looks like they're going to do the same exact thing with GTA 5

 

So rockstar in no better then the games they make fun of lol

...but that's not to say the DLC TLaTD and TBOGT were not fun

...because they were

 

But if they are looking to make money...

Just put it all in one game and charge a hundred buck for it

Don't half @$$ it and make players wait to see the full ending because it leaves players feeling like you feel now...

...but I guess you could even look at it like the didn't put it all in and by not doing so gives people the option not to get the additional content if this is something that they are interested in

 

so I guess it really depends on how you look at it from one side it doesn't work

 

on the other it does work because then people don't have to spend 100 bucks on the game if they're not interested in seeing all it has to offer

...in my opinion what they should do is offer it right from the start rather then make people wait
