I played a mission online (where I usually play now since it seems empty offline now a days)

 

It was called diamonds are for trevor, and then the description says something about Ron wanting diamonds for a lazer he made for shooting down ufo aircraft with

 

What if we need rons help with interacting with the ufos

 

Idk maybe or maybe not

 

Just a lil info, maybe Ron has a part in the mystery

 

Maybe these missions online have descriptions with good info that you can use to help in story mode

 

It was a while ago when I did story mode missions but I don't recall Ron talking about a lazer to shoot ufos with in story mode, perhaps that's why there's a crashed one in the ocean!

 

only makes sense that ron did it because online takes place before story mode and the mission clearly says steal the diamonds so they can be used in a lazer to shoot down ufos

Anyways, what i have noticed myself today is that Lamar isn't allowed to kick it with Micheal in any situation. As Franklin, I have called Lamar and Trevor to make it a 3-way party with success but whenever I try to ask Michael to hang out after calling Lamar first Michael he is always busy.

 

The same happens when playing as Trevor. I call Franklin and Lamar to hang out and its all cool. But calling Micheal just gives the busy message on the phone.

 

Vica-versa: As Franklin or Trevor I call up Micheal first and then Lamar is busy. WTF?!!

 

Have i missed an important piece of information somewhere which basically says they hate each other? I don't think I did but maybe someone can enlighten me on what's happening?

 

Getting Lamar and Trevor together doesn't go too well. They basically go back and forth dissing each other. So what's the point in that?

 

From what I remember Trevor only meets Lamar once (Merryweather Heist?) infact he might have actually 'employed' him for said job. Which is probably why Trevor has his contact and not Micheal.

 

But in conversation between Franklin and Lamar, Lamar actually refers to Trevor and Micheal as 'them 2 old dudes you are working for' so to me he is seeing them both as the same type of character he met once and never saw again.

 

As a medium, Franklin should be able to get any of his friends together in any combination shouldn't he?

I don't think its anything more than that they just aren't associated with eachother or maybe I have missed something as well haha

 

Lamar is a hoodrat hustler and Michael lives elsewhere and associates with a different kind of people I guess

 

Or maybe rockstar felt bad for Michael and said f*ck it we've already put him through the crazy epsilon bs so we'll leave annoying Lamar out of his space haha

The online mission "Satellite Comunnications" or something like that, which is the best payed mission for Trevor, is about getting a truck with some satelite dishes, and bring it to Ron because he wants to look for UFOs or something like that

 

With those two missions, and people saying GTAO is a prequel, could doing those missions "change the future" and enable something on single player?

I thought 1 game day = 48 mins irl and 1 game H = 2 mins irl

The real wow signal was only 72 secs long.

I noticed that also killing random pedestrians (several in a short period of time) and stealing moving cars (several in a short period of time) triggers rain.

To me, this seems the only real reflection of "karma" in the game: if you do "bad things", the weather gets worse.

 

If this is true also for other players (as I'm 100% sure it is for me), then we should also deduce that having fun with Ursula is considered a "bad thing"?

 

I really hope this is true.

When possible, I'll test with several save games to see what comes out of it.

Are you sure that this is not happening due to loading while in the same weather cicle (as found at file hunt)?

Also cleared the camp with trevor after taking the first four available hikers there, a long time after, while doing the lenny avery mission, knocking the signs down, came across the women in the back of the lost's van. Rescued her and was giving the option to take her to the camp, symbol showing on the map.

You are correct, it's not spanish, it's Brazilian Portuguese!

 

As this guy says on the video (sorry, no english version yet, but a lot of brazillian versions...), though kinda greenish, it's not the same as the file guys have found!

I am reassured, that doesn't change the rest. I have found all informations about the wow signal by net, there is a huge

 

huge arrow at altruist camp you can see if you are on top of the water tower between 8.00am/9.00am lookin to the

 

east, the N on your radar his at your left like the sand glyph and the direction of the arrow is N/S( not strictly).

 

I was convinced from the beginning that hour lasted 72 seconds, that's crazy...

Yes I am, I waste a long long time in stock exchange and a timer in my hand, wait 72 sec, sale blablalba.

 

You can check that quickly ingame, take your irl smartphone and look at the clock ans seconds. You can also take your rl phone if you have a timer and calculate the time. At worst it will take you a minute, uh, 72 sec !

Due to work I can't access my game for the next few days

But I'm pretty sure 1 game day = 48 irl mins, unless it changed due to some update, which is highly doubtfull.

 

I'm also pretty sure that game vs irl time ratius can change (small glitch?) after using game's internet, special habilities or switching between characters.

 

Edit - For instance, while you're golfing, time will stand still igt, sadly not irl...

are you absolutely positive about this? not saying you're wrong as i've never actually taken proper notice of the time when playing, but have had rain start/turn to sunny weather and stuff whilst on epic golf outings. (mainly when i first got the game, haven't played golf or tennis in a while)

 

..maybe it's so the game doesn't turn from day to night while you're playing or something seeing as the course has set hours..?

You're most probably correct.

I was talking about time standing still, not about weather though.

 

Never seem to get a chance to have some golfing night/twilight, even with M owning it

 

I've also never taken this "golf action" as a research project, but I've been golfing several times in game and confirmed that check in/out Hrs were allways pretty much the same (even when I've let the golf game go freely while I was dinning...).

 

I hopped, with no avail, that owning the golf course would allow me to go golf anytime (not my sport but still interesting...), since it allways seems "scheduled restricted"...

 

Atm, tops, it allows the golf's camp owner (and guests) to land the buzz there, while in underwear, with no wanted stars (it's a must!, try it just for kicks)

What if the Jetpack is a DLC, but not an upcoming one, but an already available one, and the mystery resolution is a reedemable code that we can use where we used the blimp code? wouldnt that make it near to impossible to find it in the files? just a code? it would still count as free dlc

So, we've recently lost scooby, talkol, tadd (big recent downer), MrEz (just lurking atm), along with some "legendary" early hunters as EVet, Benjamoose, HakatoX, Grumbledore and many others along this almost 6 months hunt.

Stangone50, Karoi, POWA, X (nice to see you're still around) and OPF might remember them... (I know there are some other 3/4, sorry for not searching back the names, just mentioning the most mystery thread active ones).

Deadman2112 theories also missed Tooth/Truth problems, I guess...

 

If R* is still lurking around here, now it's the time to act (free dlc-free disc for those with no web) just before everybody quits (pc users not included).

They have enough smart people to even make it look like it's allways been out there...

has anyone maxed out your money after buying all businesses? i have a file at 100% and the lowest bank account on my characters is frank with 1.9 bill. i already have all businesses bought and i still have an investment mission left with the tinkle guy.

 

i noticed money maxes out at 2,147,000,000 with investments. maybe if you have all businesses and max your money out from investments, then go beyond that investment max with business profits your rewarded with the dukes muscle car from gta iv and in the trunk of the car is the jet pack!

hey everyone, I think I found something

 

on the contol tower at the airport, sometimes, at the very top a satelitte dish appears, you cant do anything to it, except one thing, knock it down with the cargobob, you cant carry it, but it falls and points upwards, im trying out stuff with it, but it definetly is a diynamic object

 

 

also 1 little question, whats the readon the train is destroyable online, but undestroyable in single player?
