Well, "the truth" from SA, mentions the egg, so there just might be clues in SA, maybe not direct clues, but equivalent places that could lead you to the answer?

of the top of my head, is there any mention of where the groove street gang buries their people? I know they said its different universes and stuff, but what if we find CJ's grave? didnt the Jack sheepe anagram also said something about the "jetpack lies in his grave" or something?

Also for those who don't know, GTA VI is planned to come out in 2017 and is set in Vice City. I thought this info should be shared because maybe it goes deeper. It is possible. Start the search now because maybe this theory is the direction we need to head...

Do you have an official source for that info, or did you hear it "on the grapevine"?

It is an easter egg in GTA V that was on the website with the morse code.

this is totally fake r* and take 2 said publicly that there's not goin to be no gta 6 for a long time that they are going to concentrate on gta 5 storyline and gta online besides they are not going to waste time and money on a nother title gta online is a big project they have lots of stuff planned for online they have shown it in December whit the snow and in valantines and the so call glitch of the website you can go there whit out doing the stuff he did

So I discovered something while lurking in the file hunt thread trying to figure out one of these godforsaken collision models. At Devin Weston's hangar, there's a back room with a forklift and a couple of boxes and such just laying about. But what caught my eye was an opening into a small storage room, which I managed to dive into and, well, I got an idea.

I've been wondering why they put that ability to dive in the game (and subsequently disabled it in Online) and I came to thinking: Maybe we need it for this mystery. So if you guys find any openings that you could possibly dive/slide under, I highly suggest you do so. Who knows, we may find something that way. Perhaps one of the collision models will turn out to have something that we need to dive through...?

@Simkins

Previous games have been searched for decades in some cases, although there are still the very rare new finds (like the Priest & Hooker in the RV during one of Torenos missions in SA) I dont think playing the old games is going to advance the HD Los Santos search any further, since you just started looking into things welcome to the mystery!

Best advice is to try read as much as possible in the GTA V Mystery thread and when you are caught up to speed with whats what and whats known about, start to put forward your input from there,

Reading up will also help you seperate fake youtube videos from the real

Good hunting

@Snack below

Ive been playing that game for nearly 10 years, completed it maybe 10 times, The Truth never mentions any "egg" of any sort. If you can provide an official dialogue or youtube video I will stand corrected

im on it, saw the vid not long ago, he says something like "return to the egg" or something, probably fake idk, havent played it in years, hold on imma look for it

edit: here it is, almost at the start

@Snack It might be pretty hard to fake Peter Fondas voice, as I said I could be wrong but Its not something I ever remember him saying in so many playthroughs.

Furthermore even if he mentions an egg it still doesnt help the case along any further, I mean if you want to play the game and enjoy looking for things im not discouraging that, just advising you may only be digging yourself into a hole sort of! Best to stay on the HD side of things to help the hunt!

I wouldnt tbh, but i do find it interesting that such a character mentions the egg so there just might be a connection between the games, at least it proves me that they had similar ideas back then

Ok well Ill stand up and say i was wrong, however in this case I believe "back to the egg" here is some sort of hippy metaphor for his karmic circle doing a full revolution, like for example how much sense does this make

"My karmic circle is complete, back to the jetpack"

He grew the good stuff - he gets paid , his karmic circle is complete. Theres no indication hes referring to an alien egg or the Chiliad egg (which is a UFO) or egg we know of conspiracy/ mystery /topic related, so id find it off topic, sounds like stoned old hippy talk to me but believe what you will! Good find anyway!

yeah i have my doubts too, and i know probably nothing will come out of it, but for those looking for mystery references in previous games, theres a little possible one, and the character fits, its not like tenpenny said it lol

all i can think of this is that we should investigate the hippies more

So after clearing the Altruist camp with Trevor some 100 hours ago the nudies never returned, until I went there with Michael the other day and they were all back again, running for the hills as he landed his chopper in the village. So I tested things out a little and it seems that if I play as Trevor the camp is always empty, but going there as Micheal it is always fully populated again. They don't even attack him on sight any more either. Haven't tested with Franklin yet.

Is this the same for everybody?

Ursula...

1) A crater on Titania (a moon of Uranus)

2) A large asteroid

3) A top-secret signals intelligence system used by the Finnish Intelligence Research Establishment

Interesting choice of name there for our psycho girlfriend.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I stumbled upon a large, empty Epsilon garage space down on Del Perro beach. Others said they had been there and it was closed, shuttered off. Well I went back there again and it was no longer empty...

Everytime I arrive at the camp (by heli, never tried on foot) there´s people.

1 lookout at the cliff, pretty much the same as the one before the killing, and some people around the camp.

They start to flee as soon as you approach to land, some go running outside the camp and others seem go inside some of the houses...

They will not respawn if you remain waitting there, at least not for 24 hrs game time.

I thought I've seen them with all M, F and T, but I guess I'll test again with T.

They're always there for me, and don't attack unless "provoked". I'm pretty sure it's the same for all characters... I never took anyone to sacrifice though, so this could be irrelevant...

To raise water from the dam (but which one?). We have rocks we can move, bulldozers and others yellow vehicles to transport them.

I've tried and rocks don't disappear when we put them in water :)

WOW

So fill up a dam with ROCKS. :catspider::panic::lol::miranda::sui:

I tried to kill everybody in the camp as Travor, and as soon as they respawned they would turn up as red dots on the GPS and start attacking me again. I did this a few times over, the last time I just kept standning on the clif ( where theres useually a mand standning ) and as long as I stood there no one would attack me, until I started moving around again.. I stood still there from Sun set to Sun rise i case anything would trigger but nothing.

A good idea. I've seen a number of half open garages etc on my exploration so will try the roll technique.

@tadd, I've been doing work around linking up the red arrows. There are the two on top of the silos that we all know about. I followed the one at the hippy camp to the two large tanks by the sea and on the door of one of the tanks there seems to be another arrow. I followed the direction of this and it appears to line up with another similar arrow at the back of the shack by the jetty near to where the dancing hillbilly is. Directly in line with this is an old petrol station that has a red arrow with enter by the entrance. I was wondering if you could check for any false walls there. The location is at the t junction just opposite from the triathlon start on sea view rd. cheers

and so you're saying that, to continuously bring up stuff that's already been done 50,000 times and then, repeating it over and over and over again

...in a thread that would not be 6000+ post long if everybody would have read the first place

sorry but thats rediculous

this was discovered and disgust within the first week or 2 of release

we are now what 6 months into this game?

come on man really?

this is the hunt thread

a place where advanced players who have extensive knowledge of the game come to discuss easter eggs

at the very least he could get caught up

Hmmmm

Yeah that exactly what I'm saying

and yes I have read just about every post in all 3 threads

I'll be honest I didn't want to read them at first

but in all honesty without reading them you won't know what has been tried and what hasn't

If you don't, then you are more then likely just going to regurgitate the same old crap that's been done over and over

sorry

but after reading 50,000 plus posts, about this game on various different topics

then at the very least I don't think it's unrealistic to ask somebody too go to the trouble of reading the last 6000

sorry just the way I see it

you don't have to agree

Nah man, i do understand not knowing the alturist mission is a bit bad, im just saying the suggestion of reading over 6k posts is too extreme, and it might be logical for somebody who has been around here for a long time, but for new people coming is a straight way of saying dont come

edit: man, i understand what you say, and this mystery would be solved in no time if everybody would be like you, but sadly people are different, and as bad as it is, it has to be accepted, or no other player would be able to do anything here.

I´d like to end this discussion here if you´re ok with it. I think we have different opinions and we´re probably not going to come to an agreement. It is also not helping the hunt in any way so it is kind of off topic.

Happy hunting everyone =)

I agree with deadman read for a while before you post, or google before you post for the first time, stops any pointless posting.

On to the mystery...lets stop bickering now
