There is talk of a mirror in the Tract of the 9th Paradigm Kifflom! There isn't any way to get the dog to anything like that like a Lake which I would assume is a mirror(just an assumption). Much is said of the Lake in the Tract! Gonna look into it a bit and replay the mission's with the dog to try and find a reference point for it.

Hmm, well I'm not suggesting you literally mirror the dog. I'm suggesting you mirror "doG" and maybe that will give an insight as to it's identity and purpose.

I observed the light last night.

 

my guess is that it is some sort of reflection of the chopper.

it was during sunlight and full moon and I saw it turning off at 07:00.

I was very close to it at the height of the lab tunnel, and it moved.

its like the bottom of the chopper reflected it. (a reflection from the water to the bottom of the chopper that reflect it back on the water)

but it sure is vague.

its like the chopper has headlights to but only visible as a reflection.

 

its in one line with when the sun shines down that cave.

I still think the green light is a light glitch like I previously mentioned several days ago. My guess is that it's the lights from the Humane Labs' underwater grate. They are the same color as the light. The light shows up best for me if I'm hovering right above the area where the grate is. It also moves with my player camera so it's not set in one location like a reflection would be.

 

I looked for the blue light in that other area, but I couldn't recreate it. If I hovered at a certain height, I could get a light blue color reflecting off of the waves, but they were long and didn't create anything small and circular.

 

tadd, not sure if this helps, but I had one rain sequence where it was moderate rain with no thunder or lightning from 1pm - 5pm on a Tuesday. It became sunny around 4pm, but it was still raining til the end.

also I think that the biggest question that is raised is...

where and what exactly is the light coming from

its obviously not the labs or the tunnels that lead to the labs

Just got my SD back. Really wierd though, as Trevor's garage is where it disappeared from and I found it in Michaels impound...been tryna think of why besides the first, which was it's a glitch. I'm elated to have it back and was wondering if anyone had a clue to why it transported to Michael's impound.

as far as the lighting thing...

I understand what you are saying but I disagree

From what I understand about the lighting in a three-dimensional program it works the same to that of real-world physics

 

I mean computers are after all mini physics machines that can be programmed with any number of variables

 

for example in Grand Theft Auto 4 they programmed realistic physics into the way that the cars handled I know it wasn't a popular feature with many who played the game but it was programmed in none the less

 

Given the fact that the lighting in this game is pretty incredible I have to assume that they did the same here and not to mention every other light in the game works identical lights found in the real world

 

so my question would be what would lead you to believe that this light would work any different?

Also I'm going to write up a summation this week (hopefully it'll be ready by this weekend)of all the clues that were found that led to this location and I honestly think that once you see just how many clues point to this location...

then you will see why I believe that this was put here on purpose

so if you truly have found the jetpack and the UFO and you are not trolling...

A vast spiritual awakening would certainly explain why this thread is seeing greater traffic than the (scientific) game files hunt which seems to have fizzled out, lol. I think those who have searched for a deeper meaning to the mystery than the promise of material rewards have actually reaped far greater rewards already. I never put much faith in Astrology before, too many charlatan seers out there making a farce of it, but all things considered...Age of Aquarius not so much a load of bollocks after all? Science has achieved great things, but it still hasn't answered the deeper questions that burn deep inside the heart of every man. Who am I? What am I? Why am I? Where do "I" go when I'm dead?

 

As a life long agnostic, my mind remains open as ever to the possibility that anything may or may not be possible...

I've noticed a couple people asked recently if any of the UFO stuff, etc... can be seen in online. I've also wondered this occasionally, but never checked myself because I'm not a huge fan of online gaming. However, I was thinking we could be missing a huge part of this mystery. So my proposal is to get a group of hunters together in an online session and scour the map. I'll be on in a few hours when I get home. If anyone is up for it, send me a PM with your GT ( I'm on Xbox, but if anyone on PS3 wants to do the same that would be great).

 

Don't get me wrong, I think it would be a shame if it requires online in order to activate/find anything. But I figure we might as well exhaust all possible avenues.

 

And as far as the green/blue lights, I don't think it's a glitch either. I haven't seen it yet in-game, but from some of the pics that have been posted, it looks pretty significant. I plan to check that out first once I get home.

If you look at the green light with a sniper, it will be much more detailed. And doesn't look glitchy. And also.. when you walk further up the mountain (to the left), The light will move more towards the nord along the coast. But i still can't see it as bright as others see it.

Maybe there is another location where you can see it. And your path will be lit. Lol

@rvg- the brightest time of light for me was just as it started to get dark. also, i did go down the coastline and in another cove to see if i could replicate the light and couldn't get it to show anywhere else in the few places i tried. (and of course, i must stress, i didn't try the entire ocean lol)

I was able to recreate the reflection i saw west of Elysian Island but it was faint and the tide was high,so a snapmatic of it wouldn't do justice but it was there. Waiting for night to see if that helps. Looking at it, it does have all the characteristics of the green one you guys are investigating. The sun is up but it's behind me when I'm looking at it. Elevation is a factor when trying to see it.

My dad cleaned out an old drawer and found pictures from when we went to the Grand Canyon. There is a mural very similar to the Mt. Chillynads mural. This made me wonder if Rockstar based their mural off the Grand Canyon one just as a "to those who know about it" kinda inside joke?

Mirror/Truth is a Baby, in terms of The Tract.

 

Babies, no matter where WE are in our evolution or which paradigm we reside in, a baby will always catch up to us.

 

Caveman? Baby adapts and overcomes.

 

100 years from now, when we are all Way Way smarter, babies will still start at the same spot, yet still catch up to us in terms of our evolutionary progress.

 

The Lake that holds The Egg of Truth(form).

I see that many have problems seeing the light and that some say that you have to stand in one point or it wont show.

I went to that point of the map in page 161, i was seeing it, but i was also able to move in quite a big radio before the light disappeared. One of the reasons why it disappeared is because my angle made it be in the sand and it wouldnt reflect there.

 

Another thing, can it be something updates related? I have all updates and i saw it online. What about you guys?

 

edit: no chopper either... i think that cant be, since i didnt even have a car or bike there
