Just to play devil's advocate here, why "clean" each character? Anyone who has studied black lodge freemasonry and the occult knows that a man can (supposedly) ascend to great power and immortality from the negative energies released through the ritual abuse of children for example. These supposedly "enlightened" grandmaster freemasons certainly do not see moral good as the only path to ascencion, and it has certainly never been the GTA way. Since when did R*, the company who gave us bonus points for running down a line of Hindu holy men, start to preach that we strictly adhere to high moral values?

 

"If you want to get to heaven, you got to raise a little hell" perhaps?

 

Oh, and Trevor....as mentioned, red would seem a more appropriate colour for his character. So why did they use orange? Was it simply an aesthetic design choice when considering the visual identifiability of the various map icons, or could the choice of orange carry much greater significance?

nothing is going on as far as i can tell... but i get this red plants underwater that, when i get close to them, they turn normal green

 

edit: also some sort of red sand when i get too close to the ground, like if i were running and throwing red sand in my back.. but of course i didnt check it if happens in the whole map too

I confirm its there all day. Thanks for the heads up.

If you stay there it turns off at 7am. If you move and look again it regenerates.

It seems brighter in the day (although it is raining heavily so its duller sky) and seems to have a more defined circular shape to it.

You can also seem to move it around more of the water and even higher up towards the mountain and labs etc.

 

 

I think it must be when night turns to day and day turns to night eg 7am the game switches to daytime, traffic, peds etc.

I think at that instant the light disapears but comes back on if you turn round.

I sopped reading the posts 2 weeks ago, can anyone tell me if the mistery of the jetpack is solved/MT. Chiliad???

Some people say that the game doesn't have a jetpack,but its obvious,that the game has,because there is no other way to get in the ufo on top the hippie camp

You can do it,just with the ultra jump glitch,but its f*ckin impossible!!!

For those looking into clocks.

The load screen with lester at the blackboard says 10.40, in franklins first house his bedroom clock is flashing 00.00 but his kitchen clock tells the correct game time although i couldnt make my mind up if it was a minute behind.

Thank you Deadman for all your hard work putting up those photos on page 161 that pinpointed the exact location of the light ( which I always thought before was a light glitch ). I finally got to see it for myself. And first let me say its a beautiful effect. And when viewed through the snipper rifle it almost seems, dare I say alive the way it moves and shimmers and glows.

 

And im sure you noticed that when you go to save it on quick save. The back ground blurs and it forms an egg shape. For me this ties in with the whole alien egg theory and also with that poster at the Lost camp that shows an alien/monster with the sea arch in the back ground.

 

I also understand now about what you mean about the “ Light source “. But with everyone looking North. Im gonna try looking South. As it could be beamed from behind also.

i must admit that when i first made it appear in heli and tried to keep the camera still, it actually looked like something was swimming around of it's own volition under the water lol, my stomach even got that weird feeling like "what the f*ck is that" haha.

 

like i've said previously, the more people that can look into it and show results to confirm or debunk, the better. any results i get are always open to discussion =)

I think I just found a new way inside Fort Zancudo. It might help since you can do this without cheats--therefore not chancing the fact that something might not spawn in a location due to cheats. I just scoured the interwebs and have not seen anything about it. Once you cross the Iron bridge spanning Lago Zancudo, you'll come to where the guard is stationed at. Go to the left and stay to the outside of the fenced wall until you come to where the fence starts to curve to the left to encase the perpendicular area of the fort. This area will be right behind the big hangar to the right of the runway with the control tower on the opposite end of your field of view. Look at the fence... Scour the fence in this area until you come to the section of fence directly in front of the Star on the hangar. Once you're there, switch your character. I am playing Trevor and switched to Franklin. Then, switch back to the character you were originally...and bam! You're inside the retaining wall of the perimeter with NO STARS AND NO CHEATS.

These pics are from after I was inside the perimeter wall looking out. You'll see what im talking about with the break in the fence in the pictures. It's the only place of the perimeter that's like that.

The 24/7 stor in harmony has a clock which has 2 moving hands. It exactly 1hour behind to the second. Interesting?

I've not said that. I don't think it's appropriate to "clean" all character. I say, Franklin is clean, I mean it's a criminal, but not a muderer. And he don't want to become a murderer. So if we want to follow HIS profile, we must try to keep away from these situations. And whenever you have a choice, there is an option where Frankliin will not need to get their hands dirty. I only talk to him. Mickael's play and profile is totally different, same with Trevor. The game would be boring if we were always treat them like babies.

 

As Mickael is true blue, Trevor isn't Red, orange represent prefectly this character.

 

So why is Franklin only awarded Gold for carrying out the kill when he has an option? Beverley for example...you won't get gold for this mission if you let him go. It seems as though R* are deliberately encouraging the player to do moral wrong, perhaps even casting themselves as the serpent in the garden of eden, enticing us to reach out for the golden apple?

 

Not sure I follow your logic with the colours. If michael = true blue then Trevor cannot = red? What rule are you following to reach that conclusion?

wanted to add about the lighthouse light..-

 

it was my understanding that the glitch were we could stop the light by aiming sniper rifle at it was fixed in a patch? i haven't updated my game since release and am not sure, can someone please confirm this for me? i know i will eventually have to bite the bullet and update when something i really like comes out on dlc, but for now i'm happy with not doing it lol

See this alone gives me hope for the mural and the "bring 500k" thing to be not just mistakes, cause if they took the time to patch an error so small as being able to control the light house then them not patching things like "bring 500k" makes stuff like this more likly to be part of the puzzle....am i right or just talking out my ass?

have you been able to recreate that? i've been hovering that location for quite a while now with no result... I know the spot but taking in consideration how precise we need to be to see ``deadman's green spot`` if you could recreate that and provide a snapmatic (if possible) that would help a lot!

 

Deadman's ``green spot`` is there; no doubt about that. I've seen it myself and some others too. Why its there and/or what purpose... yet to be found!

 

But if we can find/confirm there is a similar phenomena, elsewhere, with the color blue! ...

Been puttin a bit of thought into the golden lab(dog) Franklin encounters a couple times in the game. Bigfoot also barks in the mission you have to catch him. Haven't been able to put the two together in any way but am Interested to hear others thoughts on the matter. I'm thinking the dog is a metaphor of some sort.

Please,if anybody can do the ultra jump glitch and get inside the ufo tell us what is in there!!!

 

To do this glitch you'll need 3 cars,put them under the ufo on the hippie camp,then light them on fire(need to count the exact seconds to the cars explode),when they're about to blow,you'll need to jump and activate the ragdoll fisic(the cars need to make a shape of a triangle,and you'll need to stand in the middle!!! I think 3 cars will do it,i tried with 2 and almost got there(1 atmosphere line under)

@Manektrik i will attempt it in a bit, im sure i could though, i was looking at it for a while before getting lost on another hunt. Will definately have a snapmatic if i'm able to do so.

Ok thats a fair enough observation deadman, something i havent been able replicate at all in another 3 hours trying? it will not show at all for me without the chopper? i have stood every angle of every side of the land, even where your pic shows it & there is no light? not even the chiliad ufo,ss or fz ones were that anal. Im sorry but i still dismiss it at this point as a light glitch or as One Poor Fool described it, a hessdalen light. Also in all your pics the green light is in virtually the same place every time, mine isnt? i can make my green light move around that side of the cove depending on the angle & height i have the chopper? the only time i cant get it to show is if i dont face from the south northwards. This is also what many others are observing also, as it cant be viewed from another direction or it wont show? also the moon casts a shadow right across the water, not a single spot, but the light also lands right on the moon line in that cove, hence why i think it is causing a glitch at that particular point. Even during the day the moon beam would still be present there, you just cant see it during the daylight is my guess. Just my opinion yet again & hope you do find more to this than just a green light. I will test abit more but i am at a loss to what we are suppose to do with this info if it is a clue myself?

 

edited: i have finally been able to see this light without the chopper. Not sure why but it wouldnt show at all before? i however arent able to get a solid light as of yet, it is more dispersed amongst the waves & probably why i couldnt spot it before? i am also viewing it during the rain, another thing it didnt do for me before? I have also viewed it til 7am as you have posted & it disappeared for me also.

Here are two more green light pics ... from standing on the southern cliffs of the cove ...

This has got to be somthing guys , anyways im out for the night ... ill be around the cove after work tomorrow .

 

Can someone please post the exact location, (in-game map screenshot or glockon poi) time and day? Then I can test this better with the no-water mod (v5). Thanks!
