Hard Freeze in Mission

Lately in the middle of a mission, my game will freeze completely locking up everything.

 

Hard reset required.

 

Anyone else on ps3 experiencing this?

Happens on XBox 360. Drives me as crazy as a backwards Entity, I tell you!

happened to me twice in a row a few days ago and i haven't played since

Not hard freeze but earlier i was doing a mission and the screen froze but i could still hear people talking and hearing sounds and whatnot.

i'm on PS3 too

the only type of freeze i see pretty much on a daily basis is the switch session shower freeze...

 

the game would free with a top-down view of my apartment with the sound of the shower, endless!

Have you tried switching to "spawn last location" and starting in friend only lobbies?

I've had that as well from time to time. Where I can still access the psn menu. Pretty much have to quit the game.

 

Recently I've had to press the button on the console to reset the game.

 

i wonder of this could be a side effect of the anti-cheater crusade.
