The only thing that I hate about it is the ending. Tony shouldn't die. He became a better person after killing that assassin in the car. It also show us that we should not do drugs. As you said, the whole message of the movie is that drug dealing sucks and you'll only wind up dead having destroyed your life but I hate the way its seen a romantasised gangster film. Plus I would have to list it as my favourite film of all time, followed closely by another one of Al Pacino's endeavours, The Godfather.
